Give each child an exit card. Every child has to write or draw
what they have learnt in the unit and the teacher will collect
the cards before they leave.

Assessment: (Were the lesson objectives met? How will

they be assessed?)
The teacher will assess the lesson objectives through the
work samples, exit cards and observations. The love hearts

identify different ways to express love. The exit cards will
demonstrate if the child can express what they have learnt
throughout the unit.

This will then be recorded on a checklist. Anecdotal notes

will be taken to record observations for checklist during the
lesson.
