Beyond-the-Basic Productivity Tools (BBPT)
Reflective Practice:
The activities I created could impact student learning by them knowing what the three types of matter are
and being able to give examples of them. This is part of the curriculum for second grade as they are supposed
to know the states of matter and examples of them. To further extend the lesson, the students could create
their own graphic organizer on the three states of matter, define them, and give examples on them. When
students finish the graphic organizer, students could create a summarizing paragraph of the graphic organizer
on the three states of matter. There are many technology tools that could enhance this project, like
BrainPop, as in introductory video.
