Title : Quit smoking before smoking quits you
Introduction
Thesis Statement :
Smoking has many disadvantages on people’s life, at least three reasons.
Body paragraph:

Most of the teens believe that smoking is a trendy thing
The many assumption smoking can reduce stress

According to the medical dictionary, definition of smoking is the inhalation of the smoke
of burning tobacco encased in cigarettes, pipe and cigars. One of the most common
problems today that are killing people, all over the world, is smoking. Based on the
statement of the minister of health, about 36.3 percent of all adults are smokers. In fact,
statistics show that the average age for first using tobacco is 13. This means that the
majority of all tobacco users started when they were a teenager. The effects of smoking
are common and dangerous, but what most people don't realize, passive smokers are
people’s life.
First, smoking may influence teens. Most of the teens believe that smoking is a
trendy thing. When those teens see other people smoking, especially their parents or their
peers, they also want to try it. Teens believe everyone around them smokes and take it
as a normal thing. They do not find anything odd about it. Teens believe what their friends
tell them about smoking. They think they will be admired if they smoke in their school.
Another reason teen smoke is curiosity about wanting to try. In fact, that cigarettes make
them look cool. For example, if their friends are smoking, many teenagers will begin
smoking simply to maintain their acceptance within the group. On the other hand, some
teens start smoking just out of curiosity. From this curiosity, they will try to smoke, and
whether they like it or not, it will become the basis of decision. However, most of them will
not quit after their first cigarette because if they quit, then their friends might say that they
are not cool. For instance, if the teenager has a group of friends, and every one of them
smokes except him, this teenager feels weird when he hangs out with his friends, and he
monoxide, nicotine, mercury, tar, and hydrogen cyanide. Those substances will be burned
into smoke that will enter someone’s lung. According to World Health Organization
(WHO), A middle-aged cigarette smoker who has smoked for decades is times riskier
than someone who has never smoked in his or her life. Tobacco smoking is well known
to be a major risk factor for various cancers, lungs and cardiovascular problems, and is
also linked to other health problems, such as complications in pregnancy, low sperm
Last, smoking has develop risks on smokers. Smoking is a hard habit for many
people to break. Why is it so hard to break smoking? Cigarettes content nicotine, a highly
addictive substance found naturally in tobacco. It moves quickly to the brain when it is
inhaled and it can cause a feeling of temporary relaxation and stress relief. Nicotine can
also improve your mood and your heart rate. But this feeling is only temporary. Like heroin
or other addictive drugs, the body and mind quickly become so addicted to the nicotine in
In conclusion, it is a must for parents to keep an eye on their children and teach
their children about the dangers of smoking and ensure that they are leading a healthy
lifestyle. Because smoking has many disadvantages. When a child becomes a smoker, it
hard to break the habit and the child will be expose to many diseases caused by smoking.
