30 years of caring for our Northwest Valley neighbors
When the doors to what
is now known as the Abra-
zo Arrowhead Campus
opened at 7 a.m. on Oct. 17,
1988, the dream of a com-
munity hospital serving
the new Arrowhead Ranch
area became a reality.
In those early days our
e, service area encompassed a
five mile radius of the hospi-
tal’s location near 67th Av-
enue and Union Hills. As
the Northwest Valley grew,
so did the capabilities and
service area of our hospi-
tal, which today offers treat-
as ments and technology only
dreamed of 30 years ago.
The hard-working team
of physicians, nurses, sup-
port staff and other caregiv-
ers at Abrazo Arrowhead
Campus continue the lega-
cy of the original staff at Ar-
rowhead Community Hos-
pital. That 84-bed hospital
has grown to 217 beds, but
that’s only part of the story.
