Can O’ Your Town - create a label that tells a story about your home town
What I learned/ accomplished:
This project was fun to do because it allowed for creativity and making something unique. It was
not a difficult assignment, only tedious in the small details like creating the bar code or making
the nutrition table. Overall, it was a fun, challenging assignment being able to layer images and
text in a way to showcase my hometown.
NETS-S Addressed:
Knowledge Constructor Standard #3 – Students compile information into a format to promote
learning in a meaningful way.
Application of skills:
I can see this being a great research assignment for students because it requires research, as
well as the use of multiple programs. By using the combination of inserting images, text and
other graphics, this was a fun and engaging assignment.
