Five “H”
⁃ Considering the attributes that our school encourages us Sophians to acquire (Hand,
Halo, Health, Heart, Head) we decided to build on these factors & create activities corresponding to
these attributes.

Target values:

Because the activity is based on the five main attributes therefore targeting all core Sophian attributes.

Objectives:

The main goal of this activity is to promote & practice the 5 main attributes of a Sophian
student. Where we may also showcase the talent & skills of each individual also developing ones self-
inside & outside of school in the process. It will also give us the chance to help a chosen charity.

Target participants:

We chose them to be a part of the program because they would both benefit and be able to fully absorb
the purpose & meaning behind the said event.

Implementors:

The JHS & SHS students are chosen to be a part of the said event because they’re key factors in
conducting the activity with the help & guidance of both faculty members & the school admin. Sophian
parents are also encouraged contribute and join in the preparation of the “Five H” activity. Hand in hand
they’ll be able to produce a fruitful and a successful event.

Date:

We chose the year 2020 because it would take a long allotted time in preparing and conducting the
activity, during the month of July or the beginning of the school year so that there would be no
interference in regards to the academics of a student, this’ll also act as an icebreaker activity for new &
old Sophians.

⁃ This activity is to be done in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Sophia School. It

promotes the “5H” or the general attributes that our school wants us students to uphold, shaping us
individuals to be whole. This project will be held in the main building depending on the activity,where
specifically. The five attributes will be divided in a five day program (1 “H” per day) as of the first day
there will be a brief explanation in regarding why this activity is being held followed by the first attribute:
“Hand”, where Sophians may share talent not only through visual art like painting but art in different
forms such as photography, poems etc. there will also be an auction for the artworks displayed on the
said exhibit up to the last day of the program. Followed by the second attribute: “Head”, will be more on
cognitive games that will entertain participants. For the third day it’s all about “Health” where a fun run
will be held. “Halo” will be focused on god given talents like singing, contemporary dances etc through
these we will honor him & his name. For the last day of the program “Heart” the funds collected from the
auction will be given to a chosen charity.

Métamorphose: Pièce de Théâtre

⁃In collaboration with the whole sophian community we wish to uphold & produce a play in
tribute to our school’s 25th year anniversary. It will evidently showcase sophian talent & empower
students thus earning funds that will be later on donated to a chosen charity.

Target values:

the values highlighted by this activity are gratefulness & being others oriented.

Objectives:

The main goal of this activity is to promote & enhance bond & working together of sophians. Where we
may also showcase the talent & skills of each individual also developing ones self-inside & outside of
school in the process. It will also give us the chance to help a chosen charity.

Target participants:

JHS, SHS, Parents, Alumni, & Faculty

We chose them to be a part of the program because they would benefit & able to fully absorb the
purpose & meaning behind the said event & help with the success .

⁃ In commemorating the transformation of Sophia school through the years & the official
mascot of the school, the Monarch Butterfly, the plot of the original piece where the theatre play will be
based of from is transformation or breaking free into something much better & worthwhile, just like what
our school has been through after 25 years, it’ll be held at the Teatron in the SHS Building. The roles of
the students within the play will be divided into two parts: the thespians & the production team. The
thespians will consist of the actors which also has understudies because the play will be showing for 2
days straight & the production team will be divided into various groups that’ll differ according to their
assigned tasks. Of course there should be a director, a stage manager, lighting, props etc. Both will be
able to prepare in 3 month (Oct, Nov & Dec) after Christmas break there will be another 2 weeks of
preparation before showing. The duration of the 3 night show will be about 2hrs. tickets are to be
purchased. The funds collected are to be donated to chosen charity of the school.

Christmas Outreach

- Enhancing the annual Class night (Christmas party) the season of giving is not only for our loved ones
but also for the less fortunate. For a night we will share with them the festivities & joy that we use to
share with each other.

Target values:

Being others oriented

Objectives:

* To share joy & happiness to the less fortunate.

* Showcasing the talent & skills of each individual.
* development of self Inside & outside of school.

Target participants:

JHS & SHS

They’ll be able to help with the festivities in spreading joy. They are also capable in understanding &
absorbing the purpose of the activity.

- Class night has been a tradition that we sophians enjoy during the holiday season, its a time when we
can relax & appreciate each others company. We perform for everyone’s enjoyment then afterwards
give each other gifts however why haven’t we thought of sharing this seasonal joy with other people,
more specifically the less fortunate. This activity promotes empathy towards other people especially
after what we all have been through this tough year. We’ve chosen to share this experience with the
orphan’s in Hospacio De Jose orphanage in Bocaue. For one night we will perform, spread joy &
connect with these children, letting them feel the holiday spirit, we’ll also donate clothes & toys for them
to make use & enjoy.
