Task Description:

Objective B: Developing skills


You will demonstrate your art making skill development, use of materials and techniques in relation to chinese artmaking traditions.
Skills will include; Lead pencil drawing from primary and secondary sources, Use of drawing ink and block printing techniques will be
explored.

Goal:
 Create a completed Polystyrene block print inspired by the terracotta warriors.
 Create a completed scroll painting using drawing ink.

Objective C: Thinking creatively


In your visual diary you will demonstrate your understanding of and ideas about different art forms and art making practices.
Students develop mind maps in visual diary and think creatively during the print making process to transfer drawings to prints.

Goal:

 Idea developments plans, annotated sketches, Demonstrate knowledge about the art forms studied by making notes about artists
and their work. These should be clearly evident in the visual diary.
