MMS and WAP Settings for Windows mobile

(I mate +HTC + Qtek+ O2+ T-Mobile)

-To configure The MMS and The WAP automatically go to page (2)
(Suitable with Windows Mobile 6 and above)

- To configure The MMS and The WAP Manually go to page (10)

(Suitable with Windows Mobile 5 and older)

Configure The MMS and The WAP automatically

1-Click start

2-Choose Setting

 3-Select Connection

4-Select Connection Setup

 5-Select the Operator
A-The country choose Oman
B-The Operator choose Mobile
C-click ok

6-Select Yes

 7- Wait to complete the Setting

8-Click Restart to finish the configuration

8-GO connection to Add the Access Point ,the User name and Password
For Wap service

9-Click Manage existing connection

10-Click Edit

 11-Click Next

12-Change the access point from wap to taif

Then Click Next

13- Change the User name and the Password from wap to taif
Then Click Next

Then start send/receive MMS

1-MMS

1-Click start Then Choose Setting

2-Select Connection

 Tap Connection

3-Select Add a new modem connection

 4- Enter the name for the connection
example: MMS
Select a modem from the dropdown menu: Cellular Line (GPRS)
Then Tap on Next

5- Type the Access point name: mms

Then Tap on Next

6- Enter the User name: mms & Password: mms
Then Tap on Finish

7- Go to Messages
Tap Menu Then Tap MMS Configuration

 8-Tap Servers
Then Tap new

9-Enter the server name :Oman MMS

Gateway: 192.168.203.35
Port Number : 9201
Server address :
http://mmsc.omanmobile.om:10021/mmsc
Connect via : My Work Network
Then tap OK

9-Select oman MMS then click Set As Defualt
Then OK

Then start send/receive MMS

 2-WAP

1-Click start Then Choose Setting

2-Select Connection

 Tap Connection

3-Select Add a new modem connection

 4- Enter the name for the connection
example: WAP
Select a modem from the dropdown menu: Cellular Line (GPRS)
Then Tap on Next

5- Type the Access point name: taif

Then Tap on Next

 6- Enter the User name: taif & Password: taif
Then Tap on Finish

7-Go Back To Connection Tap Set up my proxy server

 8- Keep the 2 boxes ticked

Enter the following Proxy server: 192.168.203.34

Then Press advanced

9- Tap the HTTP bar

10- Enter the server: 192.168.203.34 and the Port :8080
Tap Ok

11- Tap the Socks bar

 9- Delete the Server and Port numbers
Then tap Ok

Then you can start browsing the wap
