LEARNING OUTCOMES

Students will have an understanding towards the pinciples of EFL teaching for specific
purposes, a skill in creating a class design based on the learners’ need analysis, and
capability of producing a set of relevant teaching materials.

BASIC COMPETENCE

Students can understand and apply the principles of ESP in their project of creating a
certain ESP class design completed with its description of teaching-learning activities and
teaching materials.

Assignments are performed in group work. Each group should accomplish the

a) construct a need analysis for a certain model of ESP class design
b) create a syllabus
c) create a handbook of a certain model of ESP class

Mid-term test is provided with an esay-typed test which is performed individually.

3. Scoring
The scoring is based on the following:
