NARRATIVE REPORT
SY 2017 – 2018

I. INTRODUCTION
Jasaan National High School is a prime believer on the importance of tapping the students’
potentials in order for them to grow and develop into the best versions of themselves. This is
because the school wanted to fulfill mission of the Department of Educaction to protect and
promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based, and complete basic
education where students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating
environment.
It is for this reason that JNHS provides opportunities and creates programs and activities
for students to showcase their different talents and skills to the public. The biggest program that
the school has organized to feature such talents and abilities was this year’s first ever JNHS Festival
of Talents.
II. SUMMARY
One of the highlights of this year’s Foundation Day Celebration is the JNHS ALL STAR
Festival of Talents Year 2. It is a two and a half-hour show that features the different talents and
skills of the Jasaan National High School students and teachers which was held at the Municipal
Covered Court last February 23, 2018.
The said show was in collaboration with the MAPEH Department who facilitated all the
practices of the different parts of the show.
It includes dance, song, band, and acoustic performances from both the students and the
teachers.
Tickets were also sold at P30, P20, and P10. The SSG has raised a total net income of
more than P9,000.00 for the said affair. Funds will be used to help the school in coming up with
essential programs and projects that will benefit the students.
This year, the JNHS ALL STAR Festival of Talents has made an even better positive review
from its audience drawing almost a thousand spectators during the event.
III. CLOSING
The Jasaan National High School Festival of Talents has been well attended and well-
applauded by the audience --- an indication that this shall never be the last and will surely be the
first of many festival of talents to come in the next years with the support of the schools parents
and stakeholders.
