\t' s my pleasure to speak on behalf of Shane Chanthapany regarding the caliber of his character
and abilities. I have known Shane as a student for two years now, and have had the chance to
witness many qualities which make him stand apart from many of his peers. He has a diligent
work eth ic. a sharp m ind , and a creative sense of problem solving . Beyond th at. he embodies a
spirit of collaboration in his w illingness to share each of his strengths to build up others.

Currently Shane is succeed ing in rigorous coursework, wh ich includes the Advanced Math
Studies course I teach in addition to other Diploma Graduate level courses. It is for this reason that
I can perso nally speak to his know ledge of mathematics, but can also attest to the effort he puts
forth in other con tent areas as well. Among these efforts are several large-scale projects in w hich
Shane used his creativity. knowledge, and perseverance to independently create products such
as an in-depth ana lytical report.

Along with his undeniable talent, Shane has always been a joy to work with . Without a doubt, I
confidently recommend Shane for any venture he might seek to take part in. As a dedicated , high
achieving student, and as a balanced young person , I know that he will be a beneficial addition to
what you are considering him for.
