ANGGRAENI ANGGI. The influence of Learning Model and Vocabulary Competence Against
Naration Writing of Class VIII Students at Al Hadiriyah Junior High School. Thesis Jakarta.
Postgraduate School, Muhammadiyah University PROF. DR. HAMKA, July 2018.

The objectives of this study are (1) to know differences between the narrative writing competence for
the students who learned by using the learning model of Everyone is a Teacher Here and the students
who learned by using the learning model of The Power of Two, (2) knowing the differences between
the narrative writing competence among the group of students who have high vocabulary competence
learned by using the learning model of Everyone is a Teacher Here and the students who have high
vocabulary competence who learned by using the learning model of The Power of Two, (3) knowing
the differences between the narrative writing competence among the group of students who have low
vocabulary competence learned by using the learning model of Everyone is a Teacher Here and the
students who have low vocabulary competence who learned by using the learning model of The
Power of Two, (4) knowing the effect of interaction between the learning model and vocabulary
competence to narrative writing competence to the students of class VIII Al Hadiriyah Junior High
School Jakarta.

The research method is an experimental research with 2x2 factorial design, with the research
population is all students of class VIII Al Hadiriyah Junior High School. The Sampling technique is
Simple Random Sampling. The Research data obtained through the narrative writing test and
vocabulary test. The data analysis technique is two-way ANAVA.

Based on data analysis, the results of the research are obtained, (1) there is a differences in the result
of narrative writing ability between the students who learn with the learning model of Everyone is a
Teacher Here and the students who learned by using the learning model of The Power of Two. This is
in accordance with the results of statistic obtained Fhit = 7,42 > Ftabel = 4,08 with db numerator = 1 and
db denominator = 40, at the real level of 0,05; (2) there is a difference in the ability to write a
narrative for the students using the model of Everyone is a Teacher Here and the the results of
narrative writing competence for the students who learned by using the learning model of The Power
of Two in the group of students with high vocabulary competence. This is consistent with the
statistical results obtained by the average score of student competence to write the narrative with high
vocabulary competence by using the model of Everyone is a Teacher Here is 82,18. While the
average score of narrative writing ability by using the model of The Power of Two is 75,05; (3) there
is a difference in the ability to write a narrative for the students using the model of Everyone is a
Teacher Here and the the results of narrative writing competence for the students who learned by
using the learning model of The Power of Two in the group of students with low vocabulary
competence. This is consistent with the statistical results obtained by the average score of student
competence to write the narrative with high vocabulary competence by using the model of Everyone
is a Teacher Here is 66,55. While the average score of narrative writing ability by using the model of
The Power of Two is 81,32; (4) there is an influence of the interaction between model and vocabulary
competence to the students narrative writing competence. This is an accordance with the statistical
results obtained Fhitung = 61,08. This values is greater than Ftable in the real level Alpha= 0,05 FHitung =
61,08 > Ftable = 4,08. The conclusion of this study is the ability two write of the student who are taugh
by model The Power of Two is higher than the the students who are taught by Everyone is a Teacher
Here. The ability to write of students with high vocabulary competence who are taught Everyone is a
Teacher Here is higher compared to the students with high vocabulary competence who are taught
with The Power of Two is higher than the students with low vocabulary competence; there is an
interaction between the model and vocabulary competence of the students ability to write the
narratives.
