Parent involvement
● I will have volunteer opportunities for
parents to attend.
○ Field trips, classroom
assistance, school activities,
clubs, etc.

● I will arrange 2 parent meeting per

semester, a total of 4 for the school
year.
○ Extra parent teacher meetings
can be arranged if needed.
School Hours

● 8:30-8:45 ~Line-up outside

● 9:00-9:20 ~Breakfast
● 10:40-11:20 ~Lunch K-2nd
● 11:00-11:40 ~Lunch 3rd-5th
● 3:10 ~End of school
Homework and Grading
● I will be giving three practice sheets per week and all
will be due at the end of the week.
● Students must read 20 minutes per day.
● A reading log will be given to fill out.
○ 5 points per page of homework
○ 3 points for 1 book read
○ 2 points of extra credit for an extra book read.
■ 20 possible points = 100 points per week.
Classroom Rules and dress code
● Main rules
○ Raise your hand to speak.
○ No talking when instructions are
being given.
○ You must have a pass to leave the
classroom.
● Birthday celebrations are
permitted but must give notice 2
days prior.
○ Cupcakes, juice, water, or treats
only.
○ Time will be made for celebrations
15 min before the end of school.
Attendance
● If absent, student must turn in a note upon return.
○ Absences will not be dismissed if a note is not turned in.
● Please be on TIME!
● If tardy, students must go through the main office and
get a tardy slip.
