BILL OF RIGHTS
Human rights, according to Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, refer to norms that
aim to protect people from political, legal and social abuses. These are the basic rights
and freedom that belong to each individual in the world from birth until death. They
apply no matter where you are from, what you believe, or how you live your life. Here in
our country, according to the third article of our Constitution, we have THE BILL OF
RIGHTS which is composed of 22 sections that tells the basic rights and liberties of the
people of the Philippines. What are the 3 most significant rights among the sections of
the bill of rights?

The first section of the article 3 perhaps the most important part of the bill of rights.
The right to life, liberty and property and equal protection of the laws. We believe that a
human being has the right to live and should not be killed by another human being like
homicide, abortion, or war. No one can take one's breath away. Our personal liberty is
limited but our right to life is absolute. Next, is the Right to Express. As a human, we
have different perspective and point of views in life. We have our own opinions. We
have the right to speak our mind freely on important issues. Expressing our thoughts
plays a vital role in the healthy development and improvement process of our society.
Last, is the Right to Enter into Contracts. Everyone wants assurance in everything. No
one wants to be fooled. Because of contracts, it minimize risk. For example, in a job,
contracts provide a written document that summarizes the full understanding of the
business relationship and scope of the work so that no one claims any
misunderstandings later down the road.

All of the sections in the Bill of rights are important. It shows what the government
can do and can't do and gives the citizens freedom to do certain things. But for me,
above are the three most important rights that should never be faded among all the
rights we have.
