Students of Batch 2015, Electronics department are glad to propose

DURC’18, which is an Inter university competition that brings a great
challenge to compete in the Engineering world.
This competition will provide a learning environment for the integration
and evaluation of various electronics designs & control.

Our Story
Dawood University Robotic Contest (DURC) was initiated by the students of batch
2012 under the supervision of Electronics department in 2015, namely DURC15. Next
year it was carried on by the students of 2013 batch, namely DURC16. In starting two
years the contest was taken out in the university as inter departmental competition.
Different competitive themes for robotics were explored by students of Dawood
University.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

 To promote knowledge of robotics, circuits and programming through the competition.
 To put forward universities of Pakistan in the field of the robotics, to encourage the
students to make their own market and to enhance their skills.
 Promote practical work to generate enthusiasm for Development and robotics.
 To propose the adoption of appropriate policies and legal strategies for the national
markets.
 To provide competition and valuable knowledge and training for students which will be
useful in academics.
 To create and provide dedicated competition teaching materials and courses involving a
cross-disciplinary approach which might lead to academic awards.
