Activities Pre-lesson (5 mins)
1. Pupils review the characters and the story. SB pg 86.
2. Elicit from the pupils the names of the four Super Friends.

Lesson delivery (50 mins)

1. Play the recording. Pupils listen and read to find out who hasn’t got their cap( Whisper) and
where it is.(in his bedroom, under a chair)
2. Elicit where the four friends are at the beginning of the story. (school)
3. Pupils compare their ideas in pairs before the class check.
4. Play the recording again. Pause after each frame to check comprehension.
5. Pupils tell the moral value of the story. (saying sorry)
6. Play the recording a third time. Pupils listen and repeat.
7 Pupils read the key phrases: thanks, I’m sorry, It’s ok with guidance. (Linus)
8. Pupils do the tasksheet.

Post lesson (5 mins)


1.Pupils in group of five. Pupils each take a role of one of the characters.
2.Pupils practice the role play in groups.
3. Volunteer groups role play for the class.
