Improving Processes/Making Changes
Determine new ways to look at existing reports and processes. Key Accomplishments Implemented UI Tool in TR Process Developed a User Interface for consolidating data files, improving productivity for the Trading Revenue Team by over 50% in the process and eliminating approximately 4 days of manual work on a monthly basis. Worked through concept, testing, go-live, and alteration phases for both projects in order to successfully see them to completion.
Trained Financial Control on UI Tool
Organized a series of sessions to train 50 financial controllers to correctly navigate the new User Interface and worked with the controllers on an individual basis to resolve any questions. Worked with technology to make the tool more user friendly and easier to navigate.
Enhanced the Variance Process
Implemented a Qlikview tool that saves the team over 8 hours in the monthly variance process (more for quarterly and monthly) and allows for more in depth insight and analysis useful for several different financial reports.
Led Intern to Successful Complete Variance Process
Trained intern to successfully complete the variance process using the new Qlikview tool. Shared all knowledge of tools with the rest of the team to allow them to complete the process. Maintained TR Float Thresholds Investigated LE pairs with I/C break on a monthly basis. Managed internal thresholds to keep each LE pair under 50M and overall YTD balance less than 10M. Coordinated with controllers to give them a more in depth look into the specific trades that were causing breaks.
