AGENDA FOR SK FEDERATION:

Top Activities (highly suggested):

1.) Academic Convention: science convention, debate, and symposiums – Month
of February during Parañaque Cityhood Anniversary

2.) Inter-barangay Sportsfest: basketball and volleyball, and Sports Clinic–

Summer: Month of March to May

3.) Linggo ng Kabataan: (suggested project: search for Natatanging Kabataang

Parañaqueño; activities and programs of disabled children and children with
learning disabilities); Month of August

4.) Gift-giving for the youth – Month of December

5.) Medical Missions – Anytime of the year*; one medical mission for each
barangay

6.) Youth seminars and assemblies – anytime of the year* (usually during
summer or semester break)

7.) Coordinating with the Student Councils of each high-school to give free
reviewers for all students (this can be done anytime of the year) (ex.) free
reviewers for NMAT, UPCAT, etc.)

8.) Community services for the Out of School Youth and TESDA programs for
teenagers that are not in school as well

Suggested City Ordinances:

1.) Creation of the SK Federation Scholarship Program: this will be given to
deserving working students who are proven to be indigents; grades must not be
lower than 85

2.) Creation of a Youth Counselling Office in the City of Parañaque (this can be
implemented in every barangay – it can be headed by the Youth representatives,
in coordination with the student councils of every high schools in the city); the
aim of this ordinance is to monitor the mental health of students and the youth

3.) An Ordinance Providing Funds for the Reviewers of high school students for
test takers of NMAT and other National Examinations (the reviewers can be
distributed either by the respective schools OR by the public library of the city)

4.) Creation of a Youth ID to give certain* privileges to students studying in

Public high schools in the City of Parañaque (this is to give free printing,
discounts on books, etc.) (You can coordinate with major store franchises such as
National Bookstore, Nike, Jollibee, SM, etc.)
5.) Creation of an Anti-Drug Program for the Youth of the City of Parañaque (in
coordination with all of the SK Chairmans and kagawads (particularly the head
on Committee on Health)): this is aimed towards the rehabilitation of youth drug
dependents of the City

6.) Creation of a Youth Academic Team of the City of Parañaque: this aims to give
incentives to scholar students that will tutor elementary to high schools students
in the City Library of Parañaque for certain subjects or exams (this can be done
in the public library OR in their schools)
