CAUTIONS
↝↝ Be careful not to damage the contact points of the micro SIM card by bending and
scratching.
↝↝ Do not lose or hand over your smartphone, as the micro SIM card contains your
personal information. If someone makes calls or uses data communication on your
phone, you will be charged a fee. TG&Co. is not liable for damages that result from

NOTES

please contact your mobile service provider.
↝↝ The micro SIM card has a lock function preventing its use by others. If you enter an
incorrect password (PIN) three times while the micro SIM card is in lock mode, the
micro SIM card will lock and be unavailable for use. In this case, you must enter the

Charging the Battery

Read before charging the battery

≐≐ Make sure to only use a charger that has been supplied or authorized by our company.

Unauthorized chargers may cause the smartphone to malfunction or the smartphone

battery to explode. These damages will not be covered under the warranty.
≐≐ If you connect the charger to your smartphone incorrectly, it may cause damage to your

smartphone. This damage will not be covered under the warranty.

≐≐ You can charge your smartphone by connecting to your PC. Please note that the charging

time from your PC may be longer than when using the charger. In addition, if you connect to
a USB port that does not maintain a constant output voltage, your smartphone may not be
charged.
≐≐ You can use your smartphone while charging, but this may mean that it takes longer to fully

charge the battery.

≐≐ Always use your smartphone after charging it sufficiently, so that the power is not turned off

when you transfer data, install apps, and update the software.
≐≐ If your charger or USB cable is damaged, do not use them. Contact our customer center and

purchase a new product, if necessary.

≐≐ During charging, the smartphone and charger may become warm. This is not a malfunction

and does not affect the performance of the smartphone.

The following are some tips that can help you to increase your battery life:
≐≐ When you are not using your smartphone, keep the screen locked.

≐≐ Set the auto sleep time to a short time.

≐≐ Do not set the screen brightness to bright. Keep the screen brightness level moderate.

≐≐ Turn on power saving features.

≐≐ Turn off unused apps that are running in the background.

not in use.
≐≐ Turn off auto synchronization features for your apps.

12
Getting Started LUNA    Charging the Battery

NOTES

period of time, the increased battery consumption required to make a signal
connection may make your battery life shorter.
↝↝ As some basic functions run in the background even when the screen is off, the
battery may be drained even when the smartphone is not in use.

Battery charging
Before using your smartphone for the first time, you are recommended to charge the battery
with the power adapter and USB cable provided in the gift box.
Insert the small end of the USB cable into the USB connector at the bottom, insert the other end
of the USB cable into the charger, and plug the charger into an electrical outlet to start charging
the battery. The LED light will turn green once the battery is fully charged.

13

► RF Exposure Information (SAR)

This device meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves.
This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure
to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S.
Government.
The exposure standard for wireless device employs a unit of measurement known as the
Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6W/kg. *Tests for SAR are
conducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCC with the device transmitting
at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined
at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the device while operating can be well
below the maximum value. This is because the device is designed to operate at multiple power
levels so as to use only the poser required to reach the network. In general, the closer you are to
a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output.
The highest SAR value for the model device as reported to the FCC when tested for use at the
ear is 0.72 W/kg and when worn on the body, as described in this user guide, is 0.92W/kg (Body-
worn measurements differ among device models, depending upon available accessories and
FCC requirements.)
While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various devices and at various
positions, they all meet the government requirement.
The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model device with all reported SAR
levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information on this
model device is on file with the FCC and can be found under the Display Grant section of
www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid after searching on FCC ID: 2AHS3-TGL800S.
For body worn operation, this device has been tested and meets the FCC RF exposure guidelines
for use with an accessory that contains no metal and be positioned a minimum of 1.0 cm from
the body. Use of other accessories may not ensure compliance with FCC RF exposure guidelines.
If you do not use a body-worn accessory and are not holding the device at the ear, position the
handset a minimum of 1.0 cm from your body when the device is switched on.
