1 Perused the order dated 16th March 2018.     In compliance with the
said order dated 16th March 2018 Shri Sumit Mullick, Chief Secretary to the

which is tendered on record by the learned AGP.  When we pointed out the
fact that the Affidavit is far from being satisfactory, the learned AGP states
that the Chief Secretary will file a fresh affidavit in compliance with the order
dated 16th March 2018.

2 We may note here that we expect   the Chief   Secretary to peruse the

orders     not only     in this petition, but also in the Public Interest Litigation
No.140 of 2006.  It appears that  attention  of the Chief Secretary  was invited
to the Affidavit dated 25th September 2009  filed in Public Interest Litigation
No.140/2006.  However, his attention has not been invited  to several orders
passed in the said Public Interest Litigation and in particular the orders dated
13th February 2018 and 16th March 2018.
