FOR THE HON’BLE DIST.

COLLECTOR KOLLAM

Petitioner : Abdul Salim

Respondent : Branch Manager

Indian Bank, Chadayamangalam Branch
Chadayamangalam P.O.

Complaint

I have submitted PMEGP loan application to the Indian Bank,

Chadayamangalam Branch on the basis of the sanction letter from KVIC (Khadi
and Village Industries) dated 06/12/2017. The Manager of the Indian Bank
Chadayamangalam branch verified my PMEGP loan application and accepted the
terms. I had completed all the arrangement including, project report, quotation etc.
that required for the proposed A.B Tiles Industry.

Thereafter, Branch Manager was not ready to sanction the PMEGP loan. She
ignored me and made outrageous demands. First, she demanded for the Civil
Report and there was no action taken by The Branch Manager. She was delaying
the loan for Civil Report verification in such a way that would cause loss and
damages for me. Since only ten days are remaining for the financial year if she
continues to delay I may not receive the loan sanction on time.

I have completed all formalities

1) Project Report of AB Tiles and Industries

2) Map of the AB Tiles and Industries.
3) Receipt of the pollution certificate application
4) Report from President of Chadayamangalam Panchayath.
5) Quotation (Details of inputs and outputs)
6) Completed EDP Training
7) Invested Margin Money for construction of the Building
8) Rent deed of the property.
On 23-02-2018 I approached the Hon’ble Dist. Collector for obtaining
permit from Indian Bank Chadayamangalam Branch to attend EDP Training at
Kottiyam. But the lead Bank Manger did not accept my request of EDP Training.
Again on 24-02-2018 I approached the Hon’ble District Collector for obtaining
permission to attend EDP Training. But that was also rejected.

But I attended and completed E.D.P training for 10 days. I will obtain the
E.D.P Training certificate only after showing the sanction letter from the Indian
Bank, Chadayamangalam Branch. But the Branch Manager is not willing to give
the sanction letter.

The Branch Manager is making objection and delays for unknown reasons. I
am willing to satisfy any other condition set by the Bank.

I kindly request you to intervene for an immediate action and give the
necessary direction to KVIC, Indian Bank Chadayamangalam Branch and Zonal
Manager Indian Bank to pass my PMEGP loan on or before 10 days else I would
lose the benefit of the loan.

Yours faithfully,

19-03-2018 Abdul Salim.A
