Impression - this is the number of users which saw your ad in a search results - even if there
was not a click the client saw your ad and this helped you gain more brand awareness. And
the good thing is that you don’t pay for impressions.
Click - this is the number of users which clicked on your ad and entered your webpage.
CTR - Click Through Rate - this is a value which measures the ratio between the
impressions and the clicks or in other words CTR=Clicks/Impressions and it is measured in %.
Keyword - this is the search term which we are targeting and the word the potential client
entered in the search bar and searched for.
CPC - Cost Per Click - this is the amount of money a click costs. Or in other words, this is the
price you pay for a click.
SERP - Search Engine Results Page - this is the webpage containing the results from the
users search and here are displayed and our AdWords ads.
Ad - The advertising seen by the searcher as a result of typing a specific query into a search
engine. The most popular ones (and the ones used in your campaign) are the text Ads. They
contain a advertising text, containing the services you are providing.
Search Network Only - this means that the ads are showing only to users, which only use
Google to search for something. This network type campaign is better when the main goal of
the campaign is to generate leads (potential customers).
Landing Page – the Landing Page is the place where the user "lands" after clicking the text
ads. The sole purpose of the Landing Page is to convert the user into a customer by taking
specific action.
