Narrative Report of National Teachers Month Celebration

Teachers have always been regarded as the noblest profession, with teachers, professions
become professions. Teachers are considered brains behind the people who become experts or
achieved a great deal. Teachers are the light of every person’s brain, the heart of a single soul,
the pillars of those who do not have guts, the voices that keep on saying, “You can do it!”

Every year the World teachers’ Day was celebrated. The day which is held annually,
commemorates teachers’ organizations worldwide. It aims to mobilize support for teachers and
to ensure that the needs of future generations will continue to be met by teachers with the theme
“Turo mo, Kinabukasan ko.” There were different line up activities prepared for them. A mass
dedicated for teachers where in the priest prayed to the Lord touched each of them to give
strength and more knowledge and continued bless the lives of everyone.

On October 2, 2018 the District Celebration for teachers happened and held at Sta.Maria
Central School wherein different fun games and activities prepared for them and raffles were
given away for teachers. There’s also a Division Celebration for teachers held at KB Gym
Malolos Bulacan last October 5, 2018 wherein thousands of teachers in the province of Bulacan
gathered to celebrate the momentous event wherein the provincial government of Bulacan
sponsored the said event to honor the teachers
.
Pila Elementary School joined in the simultaneous celebration of the World teachers’ day
last October 5, 2018. The short program was led by the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) with
the guidance of their adviser, Ms. Ma. Evalyn M. Salva, and the Parent-Teacher Association
(PTA) officers lead by their president, Mrs. Lorna Lambayan as tribute to the teachers. The
program started with the singing of our National anthem led by a grade VI pupil, Precious Mae
Biron followed by a prayer for the teachers headed by a PTA officer, Emily Dela Cruz. The
principal, Mrs. Alma I. Angeles said the opening remarks followed by the awarding of
certificates for the winning coaches.

Selected pupils from different grade levels performed at the stage to showcase their
talents and dedicate it to their teachers. They sang their hearts out, dance with all their might and
recite poems as tributes. Everyone greeted the teachers a very happy teachers’ day and gave them
letters, roses, gifts and tokens of appreciation. To end the day right, the teachers were given a
treat by watching a free movie in a cinema. Everyone had high spirits and was very delighted to
become part of the celebration.
