PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. PROJECT TITLE: Seminar-Workshop on Instructional Materials Development and Classroom Structuring

II. RATIONALE:
Excellence in public engagement is one of the over-arching goals of the Jose Maria College. That is
to strengthen the engagement of the institution’s instruction, research, and extension programs with local,
national, and international communities, consonant with its stature as an academically distinguished private
institution with a mission.

III. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the seminar-workshop, the participants are expected to:
1. acquire updated teaching pedagogies and trends in the development of instructional
materials;
2. Enhance the teaching pedagogies/ strategies of the Project Hope teachers;
3. Develop relevant instructional technologies;
4. Improve effective classroom management techniques

IV. BENEFICIARIES: Pre-School Teachers of Brgy. Tamayong, Calinan, Davao City

V. TARGET DATE AND VENUE: September 28-29, 2018 @ Purok 1, Brgy. Tamayong, Calinan, DC.

VI. STRATEGIES/ METHODOLOGIES


1. CTE conducts a preliminary visit to the target community.
2. The project proposal is prepared and submitted to the Office of Community Extension
Services for review.
3. Final approval to conduct the seminar-workshop is obtained from the Office of the
School Administrator, Atty. Pearl Angeli Q. Canada.
4. CTE prepares the program, selects the persons involved, secure the materials and
equipment needed for the seminar-workshop.
5. Appropriate documentation and evaluation of the seminar-workshop shall be made to
identify strengths and areas for improvement in the succeeding CTE-CES
programs.
