For Online Instructors

Extended Learning Faculty Services and IT are dedicated to providing faculty and students the
support needed to use web-based technologies for effective teaching and learning.

Extended Learning’s Faculty Services team provides production support for introductory, touch-
base and closing videos, demonstrations, and green-screen videos for fully online courses, ITV
and UNM MOOCS. Course Designers are assigned to work directly with faculty for advice and
best practices for content delivery.

Production labs are provided at Woodward Hall for recording audio and video, with Voice-Over
PowerPoint, Smart Board interactive whiteboard recordings, green-screen, TV studio and
instructor-created video editing.

 Search for “authoring tools” brings a number of high end, expensive choices for indexed
content, animated content, high level of interactivity.
 If the software can produce “SCORM” output, there is a possibility that quiz results can
