CIRCULAR

CADD CENTRE, Coimbatore is conducting International Design Competition to nurture and promote
the design skills among student community. All UG and PG Mechanical Engineering students (except
first year) of PSG College of Technology are eligible to participate in the contest. There is no pre-
requisite of design skills required. Highly motivated and interested students can enroll their names
for the competition. The competition will happen at different levels. There is no fee at any levels of
this competition

LEVEL DESCRIPTION VENUE DATE & TIME

Objective test on fundamentals PSG Tech campus Venue will 26-09-2018
1 of Mechanical Engineering be communicated via mail to 5.00 TO 6.00 PM
registered students on 24-09-
2018
Selected students in level 1 will CADD CENTRE Venue, date and time
2 be groomed with adequate COIMBATORE, will be communicated
training and a design related to Level 1 selected
test will be conducted at CADD students
Centre
Regional and final rounds. Students need to travel to Venue, date and time
3 Design themes will be participate in next level for will be communicated
announced. which CADD Centre will take to selected students
care of travel, lodging and food
expenses.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION:

First prize : 1000 USD

Second prize : 500 USD
Along with trophies, certificates and much more attractive prizes
Third prize : 250 USD

Every participant reaching national level will be awarded with Rs.5000 cash prize with certificates.
