Actions Have Consequences

Theme Development in Act II

Directions: One major theme in Romeo and Juliet is “actions have consequences.”
However, these consequences aren’t always immediate. Below are three actions from
Act II. For each action, predict the consequence. Each prediction must contain:
whether the consequence will be positive or negative, what the consequence will be,
and an explanation.
