Authorizes the General Assembly to enact
legislation to allow a qualified individual to
register and vote at a precinct polling place on
Election Day. The current law requires voter
registration to close before Election Day.

the County Council may consider a bill for

Council may extend the 65-day deadline a
maximum of two 30-day periods by a
two-thirds vote. The Charter amendment also
extends the deadline for expiration of a bill to

rescheduled legislative session if the
legislative session scheduled before
