AFFIDAVIT OF DISTRESSED WORKER

I, CLARITA A. NAPULI, of legal age, Filipino, married, and a resident of P-

3, Barangay 1, Buenavista, Agusan del Sur, after having been duly sworn to in
accordance with law, state that:

1. I was an Overseas Filipino Worker in Riyad, Saudi Arabia with a contract

duration of twenty four months (24 mos.) from date of deployment, July 13,
2016, through the local agent, Gold Icon Recruitment and Promotion Inc.,
with POEA License No. 244-LB- 120911-R, and under an Employment
Contract verified on May 23, 2016 by Rustico Dela Fuente, POLO-Riyadh;

2. I worked as a stay-in household service worker under the Spouses Abdullah

Hamad Mohammed Al Wateed, my direct employers;

3. During my stay I was continuously harassed by Mr. Abdullah Hamad

Mohammed Al Wateed, the husband, through the following acts:

a. He forcefully knock my door every day and as early as one (1) o’clock in
the morning, with the intention to come inside my room;
b. One time he succeeded on going inside my room but was forced to go
out on account of my strong protest;
c. He keep on stalking at or following me every time while I am cleaning
the house or doing household chores;
d. When I tried to report to his wife these harassments or told to him to
stop, they will only become indifferent to me and to my needs such as
food and medicine;

4. After sometime, I can no longer tolerate his harassment so I decided to

confront them about the matter, but since it was the month of Ramadan,
they told me to wait until the Ramadan is over;

5. However, after Ramadan, and much to my surprise, they handed me a one-

way plane ticket from Riyad to Manila and was told that my employment
contract had been terminated and I have to leave. At this time, I still have
one (1) month prior to the end of my contract;
 6. As a result, I was sent back to the Philippines without any financial
assistance, other that the plane fair to Manila; and

7. I execute this affidavit to attest the truth of the foregoing statement, to

support my application for assistance with Overseas Workers Welfare
Administration (OWWA) and for whatever legal purpose it may serve.
