III. Project Description

The proponents learned the importance of Christ’s presence in the love of couples. The religious
affairs through its theology studies promotes healthy relationship bound by conjugal love and
divine intervention to the students and as well as to the community.

The goal of this program is to inculcate more to the students the importance of having Christ as
the guardian and the author of couples’ love that begets healthy love life which begets healthier
family relations and love-filled children in the future. However, there are certain requirements
that need to be met before a couple can enter into a valid marriage and thus, the implementing
group will assist the couple to complete the necessary requirements in preparation of their
marriage such as the process of undergoing confirmation.

IV. Objectives

Towards the development of the community, this project hopes to:

1. Provide the couple with assistance in undergoing the sacrament of confirmation.
2. Enhance the knowledge of people about the importance of the sacrament of confirmation
and further enrich their Catholic faith.
3. Help the couple fulfill their dreams of having a church wedding by completing the
necessary requirements needed before they can apply for a Catholic Church wedding.
 For our own self development, we are implementing this project to:

1. Promote the importance of confirmation as a way of preparing the couples for the
sacrament of matrimony.
2. Inspire every member of the Catholic Church to receive the process of confirmation as
a way of strengthening their Catholic Faith and enhancing the quality of their
relationship with Christ.

V. Participants

The respondents of this active service learning are the couple who will receive the sacrament
of confirmation.

VII. Budget Proposal
The class, AC4A, will use class fund as the source of fund of the said activity.

VIII. Fund-raising Activity

The class will conduct a fund-raising activity which aims to raise P 12,500.00. The said
money shall be donated to Mr. and Mrs. Rance as an additional fund for their validation
of wedding. The students will conduct this activity:

• Pop Sheets

The class is divided into five families, in which, they will be given 10popsheets each.
The pop sheets consist of 10x5 table that contains 50 boxes. Each box costs P 5.00 for
a total of P 250.00 per sheet. The boxes must be signed by the donor to verify their
contribution. The donors can request from the students to serenade them.
The fund-raising activity will be conducted on October 10, 2018, Wednesday, until
October 26, 2018, Friday.
