Particle swarm optimization is a heuristic global optimization method and also an optimization

algorithm, which is based on swarm intelligence. It comes from the research on the bird and fish flock
movement behavior. The algorithm is widely used and rapidly developed for its easy implementation
and few particles required to be tuned. It is developed from swarm intelligence and is based on the
research of bird and fish flock movement behavior. Due to its many advantages including its
simplicity and easy implementation, the algorithm can be used widely in the fields such as function
optimization, the model classification, machine study, neutral network training, the signal procession,
vague system control, automatic adaptation control and etc [1]

Qinghai Bai says that “Particle swarm optimization is an interactive global optimization method and
also an optimization algorithm, which is based on swarm intelligence”

Particle swarm optimazation method is an optimization algorithm which use swarm intelligence as an
key idea. The idea based on nature , it uses the idea from the previous research that studied bird and
fish flock movement behaviour. This optimization method is now used frequently by the scientists all
over the world. It is improved in a really high pace. Particle swarm optimization method has plenty
advantages , it is easy the construct , flexible due to these advantages it is used in very broadly in
different branches of science.
