EXPERIENCE:

Work as a team member to identify, evaluate, and coordinate solutions for fiscal-related
problems. Responsible for teaching co-workers how to process documents and help to
coordinate and facilitate training workshops for co-workers. Complete, review, maintain,
reconcile, and audit fiscal transaction reports, forms, requests, fiscal journals and records in
accordance with federal, state and University requirements. Provide administrative support to
multiple departments/program offices and review and/or audit fiscal and personnel transactions.
Assist the Admissions Officer/Registrar with the application process from beginning to end.
Transitioned Admissions process from hard copy informational sheets and forms to electronic
transmission. Created form-fillable electronic versions of Admissions forms. Created a step-by-
step manual/procedure binder for the Admissions and Fiscal processes. Responsible for training
casual hires with various Admissions duties. Responsible for the fiscal and human resource
duties of the office. Assist the Learning Specialist with pre- and post-learning assessments by
administering, scoring, tabulating results and inputting the data into the database to generate
class and individual matrices and student write-ups. Created informative and fun learning
methods for students in the Post Baccalaureate Program.
Responsible for the development and distribution of the Consumer, Corporate Meetings &
Incentive and Travel Trade e-newsletters. Maintain Corporate and Meetings & Conventions
websites by providing training and technical support to the content managers by fixing edits,
responding to inquiries and updating website templates. Coordinated the HVCB’s 2005 Aloha
United Way Fundraising Campaign as well as various corporate-wide events.
Temporary hire for the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau (HVCB) through Remedy
Intelligent Staffing as the E- Communications Coordinator for the E-Marketing department and
an Administrative Assistant for the Corporate Meetings & Incentives department. Duties
included the development and distribution of the Consumer, Corporate Meetings & Incentive and
Travel Trade e-newsletters. Creation and editing of these e-newsletters. Set-up, testing and
distribution of e-newsletters through email blast engines. Provided statistical reports for all e-
newsletter mailings for management. Illustrated how to use Contribute software through
demonstrations and training sessions for the content managers.
Administrative Assistant duties included organizing and inputting information for the 2004
budget, editing and revising the Integrated Marketing Management Services Fourth Quarter 2003
Report, inputting client information into GoldMine 5.5 database for Account Managers.
Temporary hire at the Doubletree Alana Waikiki Hotel Hotels Corporation through Remedy
Intelligent Staffing. Worked as a team player preparing amenity cards, snack bags, welcome and
thank you letters for guests and mailing brochures, letters, gifts, etc. to other properties and
guests.
