The career Guidance Modules
Road to the Right Choice
With the new curriculum, Grade 11 students are given a wide array of different
professions and life choices. They are directed to a wise career decision making as they pursue
college as it is believed that there can be factors affecting their life and career choices considering
their age and capacity.
In the initialization of the module, students were given activities to help them identify the
right track for their interest and skills.
The Star Power Within
It is always a good idea to bring out the best in every child, and that is the star power
within him. Part of the module is to practically unleash the knowledge and skills of every learner.
The students will focus on their innate talents, interests, skills and abilities as they try to discover
their potential.
Reaffirming the Chosen Track
As they try to decide on which track they supposed to pursue, they should be fed with the
proper information pertinent to these matters so as to guide them in every step of the way. This
part of the module will guide them through and will for sure influence their thoughts in their
respective choices.
Fit Me Right
The question is not always what he/she wants, sometimes it is more appropriate to ask if
it fits him/her right. This section of the module presents activities that will make the learners
realize that they can have people along the way who can help and guide them in a wise and
appropriate decision making.

I have seen how helpful the module is for the students. It gave a clearer
perspective in making a wise decision for the students.

It is an outstanding idea that DepEd should provide more copies for the
