Save This Manual
Before using the apparatus, carefully read the general safety rules. Observe the instructions for maintenance to ensure your tool
always operates properly. Save this user's manual and the other documents supplied with it for future reference.
Warning: Always read and follow the operating and safety instructions in the power tool owner’s manual and the instructions for use
of any accessories.
1. Keep the work area clean. A cluttered work area may cause accidents. Make sure the work area is well lit.
2. Work environment. Never use tools near flammable liquids or gases .
3. Keep children away. Never allow children or spectators to touch the tools. Keep children at a safe distance from the work area.
4. Store tools in a safe place. Tools that are not used must be stored in a dry and locked place, out of the reach of children.
5. Do not force the tool. The machine will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was intended. Damage caused by
forcing the tool is not covered by the warranty.
6. Use the right type of tool. Do not use low -powered tools for heavy-duty operations. Never use the machine other than for its
intended purpose.
7. Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that might get caught in moving parts. Never wear rings with
protruding parts. Cover long hair. Wear rubber footwear. Use eye and ear protection.
8. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles.
9. Do not over-reach. Be sure of your footing and balance at all times.
10. Maintain the tool with care. The tool works safest and best if it is kept clean. Observe the instructions for maintenance
and changing accessories. Keep the tool dry and free from oil and grease.
11. Disconnect the machine . Disconnect the machine when it is not in use, before cleaning, and when changing accessories.
12. Remove wrenches from the machine . Before starting the machine, make sure to remove wrenches and other tools.
13. Avoid unintentional starting. Make sure the switch is off and machine is unplugged before moving machine. Never carry the
machine with your finger near the switch.
14. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Use your common sense. Do not operate the tool when you cannot concentrate on the
job.
15. Check the machine for damage . Before starting the machine, check for damaged parts and that all safety devices operate
smoothly and efficiently. Make sure all moving parts are in good working order. Check the machine for any broken or jamming
parts. Make sure all parts are fitted properly and any other conditions that might affect the functioning of the machine are favourable.
If not stated otherwise in this manual, damaged safety devices and machine parts should be repaired or replaced by a recognized
service centre. Damaged switches must be replaced by a service centre. Do not use the machine if it cannot be switched on or off.
16. Guard against electric shock . Prevent body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerator
enclosures.
17. Replacement part and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the
warranty. Only use accessories intended for use with this tool.
18. Do not use while under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. Read warning labels on prescriptions to determine if
your judgment or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not operate the tool.
19. Use proper size and type extension cord. If an extension cord is required, it must be of the proper size and type to supply the
correct current to the tool without heating up. Otherwise, the extension cord could melt and catch fire, or cause electrical damage to
the tool. If you are using the tool outdoors, use an extension cord rated for outdoor use.
20. Maintenance. For your safety, service and maintenance should be performed regularly by a qualified technician.
NOTE: Performance of this tool (if powered by line voltage) may vary depending on variations in local line voltage. Extension cord
usage may also affect tool performance.
Warning: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible
conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are
factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
Warning: Before using this tool, make sure that the power cord will be plugged into an outlet which has a three-prong ground, is
120V AC, is protected by a 15 Amp circuit breaker, and has a Ground Fault Interrupter.
Common household current is 110-120V. As long as the outlet used with the Tile Saw is rated from 110-120V there will be no
complications using it with household receptacles. Plug the tool into a 110-120V properly grounded outlet protected by a 15 Amp,
dual element time delay or circuit breaker.
Never try to plug a 110-120V tool into a 220-240V circuit, or serious complications and possible injury to the operator may occur.
The plugs have different shapes to prevent this. This tool has a three-prong plug. The third round prong is the ground. Cutting off
the ground will result in a safety hazard and void warranty.
If the outlet you are planning to use is the two-prong type. Do not remove or alter the grounding prong in any way. Use an adapter
and always connect the ground lug to a known grounding source. It is recommended that your have a qualified electrician replace
the two-prong outlet with a properly grounded three-prong outlet.
Extension Cords
Your tool has a three-prong plug; therefore you must use an approved three-prong extension cord. Improper use of extension cords
may cause inefficient operation of your tool which can result in overheating. Be sure your extension cord is rated to allow sufficient
current flow to the motor. If you are using the tool outdoors, use an extension cord rated for outdoor use.

Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to operate the tool better and safer
Warning
To prevent injury and/or property damage, Do not plug in the saw if any part is missing or damaged.
Make sure all saw parts are present and undamaged before using this miter saw.
Unpacking
Warning
Do not lift the saw while holding on to the guards. Use the carrying handle.
The dust bag fits over the dust extraction port. For more effective operation, empty
the dust bag when it is no more than half full. This allows for better air flow through the bag.
Installing Clamp
The clamp assembly can be mounted to the fence, either side of the saw blade, to suit the task at hand.
Use the clamp assembly lock at the back of the fence to secure the clamp assembly in position.
Laser Guide
Laser Safety
Wavelength 635-670nm
Max Radiated Power 1mW CW
The lower laser is factory set to emit a laser line along the right hand side of the blade. The upper laser
is factory set to emit a laser line along the left hand side of the blade. This upper laser can be adjusted
by the operator to suit blades of different kerf (cut) widths.
Loosen the Slide Lock Screw to allow the saw arm to slide front to back
for cutting wide workpieces. When tightened, the slide lock prevents the
saw arm from sliding. Tighten the slide lock during transportation.
Miter Adjustment
The miter table lock is used to lock the table at the desired miter angle.
The Miter saw cuts from 0 degrees to 45 degrees both left and right. To
adjust the miter angle loosen the miter table lock and using the miter tale
handle adjust the miter angle to the desired position. The miter table
features positive click stops at 0 degrees, 15 degrees, 22.5 degrees, 30
degrees and 45 degrees for quick setting of common miter angles.
Bevel Adjustment
The bevel adjuster needs to be pulled out before the bevel angle can be
adjusted.
The bevel adjuster features positive click stops at 0 degrees to 15
degrees, 30 degrees and 45 degrees to the left and right. To adjust the
bevel angle loosen the bevel lock and pull out the bevel adjuster. Adjust
the saw arm to the desired bevel angle. Release the bevel adjuster and
tighten the bevel lock.
Changing a Blade
To replace the saw blade perform following steps in the exact order listed below:
(Refer to functional description section for item numbers in parentheses).
1. Make sure that the electrical plug is removed from the power supply.
2. Push down on the operating handle and pull the saw arm release knob to disengage the saw
arm. The release knob can be turned so that it is held in the retracted position.
3. Raise the saw arm to its highest position.
4. Using a phillipsw head screwdriver (not supplied) loosen and remove the screw that secures
the guard retraction arm to the rotating blade guard.
5. Using a phillips head screwdriver (not supplied) loosen and remove the screw that secures
the blade bolt cover.
6. Pull the rotating blade guard down then swing it up together with the blade bolt cover. When
the rotating blade guard is positioned over the upper fixed blade guard it is possible to
access the blade bolt.
7. Press the spindle lock button. Rotate the blade until the spindle locks.
8. Use the blade wrench (provided) to loosen and remove the blade bolt. ( Loosen in a clock-
wise direction as the blade screw has a left hand thread).
9. Remove the outer blade washer and the blade.
10. Spread a drop of oil onto the inner blade washer and the outer blade washer where they
contact the blade.
11. Fit the new blade onto the spindle. Make sure that the inner blade washer sits behind the
blade.
12. Replace the outer blade washer.
13. Depress the spindle lock button and replace the flat washer and blade bolt.
14. Use the blade wrench to tighten the blade bolt securely (tighten in an counter-clockwise)
15. Lower the blade guard, hold the rotating lower blade guard and blade bolt cover in position
and tighten the fixing screw.
16. Replace the guard retraction arm and secure onto the rotating blade guard.
17. Check that the blade guard operates correctly and covers the blade as the saw arm is
lowered.
18. Connect the miter saw to the power supply and run the blade to make certain that it is
operating correctly.

4. Ranger les équipements non utilisés. Lorsque non utilisés, les outils doivent être rangés dans un endroit sec pour empêcher la
rouille. Rangez l’équipementières un endroit sûr, hors de portée des enfants.
5. Ne forcez pas l’outil. Il fera un meilleur travail de coupe si vous laissez la lame faire le découpage au rythme prévu de coupe.
6. Utilisez le bon outil pour le travail à accomplir. N’essayez pas de forcer un petit outil ou attachement pour effectuer le travail
d’un grand outil industriel. Il y a certaines applications pour lesquelles cet outil a été conçu. Ne modifiez pas cet outil et n’utilisez cet
outil que pour la tache à laquelle elle été conçue pour faire.
7. Portez des vêtements appropriés. Ne portez pas de vêtements amples ou de bijoux car ils peuvent coincés dans les pièces
mobiles. Des vêtements protecteurs et non-conducteurs, et des chaussures anti-dérapant sont recommandés.
8. Utilisez des protections pour les yeux et l’ouïe. Toujours porter des lunettes de sécurité approuvées ANSI.
9. Ne vous étirez pas. Maintenez un bon équilibre et une posture appropriés à tout moment. N’essayez pas d’atteindre des objets
situés au-dessus ou à travers de machines en marche.
10. Entretenez les outils avec soin. Assurez-vous que les outils sont bien aiguisés et propres pour une performance optimale.
Suivez les instructions pour changer et lubrifier des accessoires. Inspectez les cordons d’alimentation d’outils régulièrement. S’ils ne
fonctionnent pas, faites réparer par un technicien autorisé. Les poignées doivent être maintenues propres, sèches et libre de pétrole
et de graisse à tout moment.
11. Débranchez les cordons d’alimentation. Arrêtez l’outil lorsque non utiliser.
12. Enlevez les clés et les clefs d’ajustement. Vérifiez que les clés et les clefs d’ajustement sont enlevées de la machine ou de la
surface de travail avant d’utiliser.
13. Évitez la mise en marche involontaire. Soyez sûr que le commutateur est dans la position de repos lorsque non en service ou
avant de le brancher.
14. Restez alerte. Regardez ce que vous faites. N'actionnez aucun outil quand vous êtes fatigué.
15. Vérifiez pour des pièces brisées. Avant d'utiliser n'importe quel outil, toute partie qui semble endommagée devrait être
soigneusement vérifiée pour déterminer si l’outil fonctionnera correctement et exécutera sa fonction prévue. Vérifiez l'alignement et
l'attache de pièces mobiles, les supports et toute autre partie de l’outil. En cas de doute, faites vérifier par un technicien authorizé.
16. Attention aux chocs électriques. Empêchez le contact de votre corps avec tout appareil électrique avec mise à la terre tels
que des tuyaux de plomberie, des radiateurs, cuisinière et réfrigérateur.
17. Remplacement de pièces et accessoires. Pour un bon entretien, employez seulement des pièces de rechange identiques.
L'utilisation de toutes autres pièces annulera la garantie. Utilisez seulement les accessoires prévus pour cet outil.
18. N'actionnez pas l'outil sous l'influence d'alcool ou de médicaments. Lisez les étiquettes d'avertissement de prescriptions
pour déterminer si votre jugement ou réflexes sont altérés sous médications. En cas de doute, n'actionnez pas l'outil.
19. Employez la taille et le type appropriés de rallonges électriques. Si une rallonge électrique est nécessaire, elle doit être de
la taille et du type appropriés pour fournir un courant suffisant à l'outil sans surchauffe. Autrement, la rallonge pourrait fondre et
causer un incendie. À l’extérieur, utilisez une rallonge électrique approuvée pour l’extérieur.
20. Entretien. Pour votre sécurité, le service et l'entretien devrait être exécuté régulièrement par un technicien qualifié.
NOTE: L'exécution de cet outil (si actionné par tension secteur) peut changer selon des variations de tension secteur locale.
L'utilisation d’une rallonge électrique peut également affecter le rendement de l’outil.

AVERTISSEMENT: Avant d'utiliser cet outil, assurez -vous que le cordon d’alimentation soit branché à une prise à trois fourches mis
à la terre de 120V AC et protégé par un disjoncteur de 15 amp., muni d’un interrupteur par défaut.
Le courant habituel d’une prise de courant murale est 110-120V. Toute prise de courant de 110-120V alimentera parfaitement la
scie de tuile céramique. Branchez l'outil à une prise de 110-120V, correctement mis à la terre par un disjoncteur de 15 amp.
N'ESSAYEZ JAMAIS de brancher un outil 110-120V à un circuit 220-240V, ou les complications et les dommages sérieux peuvent
se produire pour l'opérateur. Les prises ont différentes formes pour empêcher ceci. Cet outil a une prise de trois fourches. La
troisième fourche ronde est la mise à la terre. Enlever la fourche de mise à la terre causerait un risque en matière de sécurité, et la
garantie serait ainsi annulée.
Si la prise de courant que vous projetez employer est du type bidirectionnel à 2 fourches, n'enlèves pas ou ne modifiez pas la
fourche de mise à la terre d’aucune façon. Utilisez un adapter et reliez toujours la fourche ronde à une source de mise à la terre
connue. Nous vous recommandons de faire remplacer la prise de deux fourches vers une prise avec mise à la terre à trois fourches
installée par un électricien qualifié.
Rallonges Électriques
Votre cordon d’alimentation a une prise à trois fourches, donc vous devez employer une rallonge électrique à trois fourches.
N’employez seulement qu’une rallonge électrique certifié CSA ou UL. L'utilisation d’une rallonge électrique inadéquate causera le
mauvais fonctionnement de votre outil et des problèmes de surchauffe. Assurez vous que votre rallonge électrique est calibrée pour
permettre une alimentation de courant suffisant au moteur. Si vous utilisez l'outil à l’extérieur, employez une rallonge électrique
certifiée pour usage à l’extérieur.
Symboles
Important: certains des symboles ci-dessous peuvent être utilisés sur votre outil. Veuillez les étudier et apprendre leur
signification. Une interprétation adéquate de ces symboles vous permettra d’utiliser l’outil plus efficacement
et de façon plus sécuritaire.
Avertissement
Pour éviter tout risque de blessure et/ou tout dommage, NE branchez PAS la scie si des pièces
manquent ou sont endommagées. Assurez-vous que toutes les pièces de la scie ont été livrées et
qu’elles sont en bon état avant d’utiliser cette scie à onglet.
Deballage
Avertissement
Ne soulevez pas la scie en la tenent par les gardes de protection. Utilisez plutôt la poignée de transport.
Le sac à poussière s’installe sur la buse d’aspiration de la poussière. Pour un fonctionnement plus
efficace, videz le sac à poussière lorsqu’il est à moitie plein. Cela permetune meilleure circulation
de l’air dans le sac.

Le bloc de serre-joint peut être installé sur la garde, d’un côté de la lame ou de l’autre, selon la tâche.
Utilisez le verrou du bloc de serre-joints situé derriére la garde pour fixer le block de serre-joints bien
en place

Guide Laser
Le laser inférieur est réglé à l’usine de façon à émettre un rayon laser sur le côté droit de la lame.
Le laser supérieur est réglé à l’usine de façon à émettre unrayon laser sur le côté gauche de la lame.
Ce laser supérieur peut être ajusté par l’utilisateur de manière à correspondre à des lames de differentes
largeur du trait de scie (de coupe)
Pour ajuster la position du laser supérieur, procédez comme suit:
1. Soulevez le bras de sciage

3. Branchez le cordon d’alimentation de la scie à onglet dans la prise de
courant et allumez les témoins laser en appuyant sur l’interrupteur de Commande de
MARCHE/ARRÉT du laser. pas du laser

4. Avec un tournevis à tête étoilée (non compris), ajustez la opsition du
rayon du laser supérieur en tournant la commande de pas du laser.
5. Continuez de l’ajuster jusqu’ à ce que le rayon de gauche soil aligné avec le côté gauche de la lame.
6. Éteignez les témoins laser et réinstallez le couvercle du laser.
Pommeau de degagement du bras
Vis
Desserrez la vis du verrou de la glissière pour pouvoir glisser le bras de
sciage de se déplacer. Serrez le verrou de la glissière durant le transport
de la scie.

Pour remplacer la lame, suivez les étapes suivantes dans l’ordre exact indiqué ci-dessous:
