    Preparation of solution

    KOH (25wt%) 200g


    Phosphoric acid (85%) 200g
    EFB 100g
    Palm Oil frond 100g
    Corn Cob 100g

    Impregnation

     Impregnation ratio: 1:2


     Activation temperature: 80C
     Carbonisation temperature: 700
     Weight ratio = solute /solvent = 5g/100ml

    1. Weight the 100g of EFB in a beaker


    2. Prepare solution by dissolving KOH pellet in water
    3. Impregnate the EFB with KOH solution at 80C for 24h.
    4. Filter and wash the impregnated EFB with water
     Waster = KOH + water
    5. Dry the EFB in oven for overnight at 60C
    6. Carbonise the EFB in a furnace at 700C for 2h.
    7. Powder the carbonized material into powder form using portal mostal
