Preface
First of all thank you for purchasing our company’s completely independent development products of CM series
magnetic flux vector control frequency converter.
In CM series inverter adopts modular design to satisfy customers under the premise of general requirements, by
extending the design flexibility to meet the individual needs of customers, industry demands, represents the
application of frequency converter in the future industry trends.Built-in universal extension interface and powerful
speed control and torque control, the process of practical simple closed loop control, PLC, flexible input/output
terminals, pulse frequency, power and stop given the parameter selection, the frequency of a given storage channels
and run the command bound, advocate complementary given control, frequency control, the speed tracking,
encoder break line monitoring, fault self-recovery, built-in brake unit, 28 kinds of fault monitoring, as many as 16
segment multistage speed control, parameter copy, etc.Meeting the requirements of all kinds of complex high
precision transmission, and at the same time it has great value for equipment manufacturing industry customers
with high integration integration solutions to reducethe system cost, to improve the system reliability.
We provide two seed modules for users to choose, namely CM530E function module and CM580E function
modules, modular design, on behalf of the inverter development direction in the future.The difference between
them are shown in table 1:

Magnetic flux vector control is the traditional voltage vector control,and the advantage of the current vector
control mainly embodies the following aspects:
1, large start torque: 0.5 Hz, 180% rated torque (open-loop flux vector control);
2, excellent weak magnetic control algorithm, the realization of high performance high speed control;
3, the precise speed control precision: open-loop flux vector control: plus or minus 0.5% or less (rated synchronous
speed)
The closed-loop flux vector control plus or minus 0.2% or less (rated synchronous speed);
4, more stable speed control stability: open-loop flux vector control: plus or minus 0.3% or less (rated synchronous
speed)
The closed-loop flux vector control plus or minus 0.1% or less (rated synchronous speed);
The torque response of 5, faster performance: 40 ms or less (open-loop flux vector control)
20 ms or less (closed-loop flux vector control).
This manual for CM530, CM530E, CM580 and CM580E inverter operation instruction manual, which USES
CM530E standard is introduced.
This manual provides the user selection, installation, parameter setting, the scene debugging, fault diagnosis and
daily maintenance and the maintenance of the relevant matters needing attention and the instruction.For proper use
of this series of frequency converter, please read this manual carefully in advance, and please keep for later
use.Equipment supporting the customer to send this manual with the equipment to the end user, please.
CM series inverter is in accordance with the following international standards, and some products have passed CE
certification;
IEC/EN61800-5-1:2003 adjustable speed electric drive system safety requirements;
IEC/EN61800-3 2004 adjustable speed electric drive system, the third part: the electromagnetic compatibility
product standard and its specific test method.

Daily check items:
1) in the operation of the motor sound if an exception occurs

4) converter cooling fan is working correctly
5) inverter is overheating
Daily cleaning:
Should always keep the inverter in a clean state.
Effectively remove the inverter on the Table area of dust, prevent dust from entering the internal frequency
converter, especially metal powder.
Effectively remove oil converter cooling fan.
Fans 2~3years
The user can according to the running time determine the change of fixed number of year.
1, the cooling fan may damage the reason: bearing wear, leaf aging.
Criteria: fan blade for cracks, such as whether there are abnormal vibration sound when the phone is switched on.
2, filtering electrolytic capacitor may damage the reason: the poor quality of the input power supply, the
environment temperature is higher, the frequent load jump, electrolyte aging.Judging criteria: presence of liquid
leakage, the relief valve is protruding, electrostatic capacitance measurement, the measurement of insulation
resistance。
CM series frequency converter of six kinds of control mode: the common V/F, open loop flux vector control 1, 2,
open-loop flux vector control open-loop torque control, the closed-loop flux vector control, the closed loop torque
control.

When choosing the inverter must first clear system of variable frequency speed regulation technology requirements,
the application of frequency converter and the load characteristics of occasions, and from the adaptation motor, the
output voltage, rated output current factors such as comprehensive consideration, and then choose to meet the
requirements of aircraft and determine the operation mode.
The basic principle is: motor rated load current should not exceed the rated current of the inverter.Normally
according to the instruction of motor capacity to choose, the attention is rated current of the motor and frequency
converter.Overload capacity for starting and braking of frequency converter to be meaningful.Anything that
short-time overload in the running process, can cause changes in the velocity of the load.If the velocity accuracy
requirement is higher, please consider enlarge a class.
Fan and water pump type: in the low required overload ability, because the load is proportional to the square of the
torque and speed, so the load lighter during low speed running except roots blower () and load on the speed
accuracy because of this kind has no special requirements, so choose square torque V/F.
Constant torque load: most of the load with constant torque characteristics, but in terms of the accuracy of the speed
and the dynamic performance requirements are generally not high.For example: extrusion machine, mixer,
conveyor belt, in the factory the transport trolley, crane, translation agencies, etc.Optional model selection of the
multistage V/F control mode.
Controlled object has a certain dynamic and static index requirements: this type of load is sometimes a hard
mechanical properties at low speed, in order to meet the production process of the control system of static and
dynamic index requirements.Can choose the open-loop flux vector control mode.Controlled object with high
dynamic and static index requirements: for speed control precision and dynamic performance index has a high
requirement and high precision synchronous control occasions, can adopt closed-loop flux vector control mode
(please choose CM58 series inverter).
Please choose according to the braking torque of brake resistance, power and braking unit types, and you can see
Table2-5 for details:

The application of different industry, its braking torque is different:
1, the general reduction in the process of braking, the braking torque is 50% (such as: machine tools, punch press,
spindle servo, brick machine, etc.);
2, vertical load falling in the process of braking, the braking torque is between 100% ~ 150% (such as: construction
elevators, cranes, passenger elevator, centrifuges, etc.).

1, braking resistor value choice must not be smaller than the resistance tolerance of the recommended in the Table,
such as more than would be likely to damage the brake unit;

3.1.2 Machinery installation need to focus on is the cooling problem.So please note the
following points :
1) please install vertical frequency converter, facilitate upward heat, but not the horse.If there are more
contained in the inverter, it's best to install side by side.When installed up and down is required, please refer to
the Map3-1 schematic Map, install insulation guide plate.
2) follow the Map3-1 installation space, to ensure that the inverter heat dissipation space, but decorate, please
consider other components contained in the heat.
3) mounting bracket must be flame retardant material.
4) with metal powder applications, recommended the radiator tank installation, outside seal ark space should be
as large as possible at this time.

Choose the vector control operation mode, in front of the frequency converter operation, must be accurate input
motor nameplate parameters, CM5X0E frequency converter on the basis of standard motor nameplate parameters
matching parameters; Vector control method of motor parameters dependence is very strong, to get good control
performance, must be charged with the accurate parameters of the machine.
If the motor can be completely off load, and then the F4-00 please select 2 (complete tuning), and then press the
RUN key on the keyboard panel, the inverter will automatically calculate the motor of the following parameters:
F4-07: no-load current F4-08: stator resistance
F4-09: rotor resistance F4-10: mutual inductance resistance
F4-11: leakage inductance
If the motor and load off completely, the F4-00 please select 1 (static tuning), and then press the RUN key on the
keyboard panel, also can obtain needed parameters.

1、Electricity no display:
1)By using Table to check the input power supply converter million rated voltageand frequency
converter is consistent, if the power supply has the question please check and eliminate.
2)Check whether the three-phase rectifier bridge is in good condition, if the rectifier bridge has been
damaged, please seek service.
3)Check whether the charge lamp is lit, if the light is not bright, the fault generally focus on the rectifier bridge

2、Jumped on electric power supply air switch:

CRC produced in the process, each 8-bit characters individually with register contents exclusive or (XOR), the
results to the lowest effective direction, MSB to 0. LSB can be extracted, if the LSB is 1, register and preset value
dissimilarity or alone, if the LSB is 0,, is not. The whole process will repeat 8 times. At the last one (8) is completed,
the next eight bytes and separate and register the current value of the alien or xa001 (0). The values in the final
register, is all the bytes in the message after execution of CRC value.
CRC were added to the message, the low byte first, then add the high byte. CRC simple function is as follows:
