DECLARATION OF GONFORMITY

The FE autoclave is a medical device class ll a, in accordance with artkle 15 -Appendix lX of the European
Directive 93I4ACEE.
The autoclave has been developed, produced and tested in accordance with the new European Norm refative
to smaf l water team autodaves: Pr EN 13060 -1, 2 111 - 1997 I Class B, and with the applicable safety norms
(see appendix 1).
You will find endosed a dedaration of conformity and a warranty card specific to your autoclave.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS - SAFETY

U The user is responsible for operation and servicing the autoclave in accordance with the instructbns
listed in this manual.
L The autoclave has not been designed for the sterilization of liquids.
r_t The autodave has not been designed to operate in the presence of gas or explosive vapors.
i The trays and the load will still be hot at the end of each cycle. Use the tray holder to remove each tray
from the chamber.
ll Do not open the door of the chamber when you are running the sterilization programs.
I Do not put you hands or face on the cover of the water tank when the autoclave is running-
! Do not remove the instruction plate or any label from the autoclave.
I Do not pour water or any other liquid over the autoclave.
Ll Do not fill the caustic liquid into the water tjank.
! Do not fill the caustic matter in the chamber.
i: Use only high quality distilled water.
u Unplug the mains lead before inspecting or servicing the machine.
I Only an apprwed technician using original spare parts can carry out repairs and maintenance.
,f In case of transport, drain both water tanks completely, allow the sterilization chamber to cool down and
preferably use the original packaging.

1 . UNPACKING

The autodave, the accessories, the user manual and the warranty card are supplied in a sturdy box.
Check the condition of the packaging on receipt. Contact the canier immediately and inform your supptier if
the outer packaging is damaged.

2.1 INSTALLATION

Install the autoclave on a flat and levelsurface

Installthe autoclave as outlined below:


- lnstaf l the autoclave on a flat and level surface. (Be observed the gradienter on the tap of the autoclave)
: The MAX weight of the autoclave with the water tank tull and the chamber fully loaded is: 48Kg | 75Kg.
I Leave a gap of 5 cm at the back and 2 qn on each side of the autoclave to ensure adequate ventilation.
a Do not place the autoclave near a sink or in a location where it is likely to be splashed.
I Install the autoclave in a well-ventilated room.

- Xeep away from all sources of heat.

drain the used water and the distilled water.
WARNING!
Do not unscrew the cover of the main water tank when the autoclave is working.

Always use the distilled water only.

ADJUST AND USE

1. PREPARATION BEFORE STERILIZATION

: Check whether the power connection meets the demands.

-l Check whether there are any spare parts ieft in the chamber,
. Check whether the autoclave is installed on a flat and level surface.

Read the following instructions for proper usage and maintenance of inslruments and matedal

Make sure that the instruments of different materials are separated and placed on different trays
In case of carbon steel instruments, place a towel or paper-wrap between the tray and the instruments
-order to avoid a direct contact between different materials.
All the instruments must be sterilized in an open position
Make sure that the instruments remain apart during the sterilization cycle.
The empty canisters should be placed upside down in order to prevent water accumulation.
Do not overl€d the trays in order foe items to be properly sterilized & dried.

Recommend to clean the instrumenb before loading.

1. OPERATION
:l CLEANING THE EXTERIOR
Clean the exterior with a damp cloth use mild detergent.
Never use scouring agent or highly abrasive products.

Do not use a large quantity of water to clean the autoclave . This may damage the
electrical components and safety mechanisms-

:l CLEANTNG THE CHAMBER. TRAYS AND TRAY IIOLDER


r Remove the trays and tray holder from the chamber.
Clean the chamber with a damp sponge saturated with a detergent or scouring agent if necessary
Rinse with a damp sponge to remove all traces of the product.
Apply the same procedure for the trays and tray holder

Ensure that you clean all around the autoclave chamber.


Do not bend or damage the temperature sensor that is at the base of the charnber.
Never use disinfectants to clean the chamber.
