Developmental
1. Student will discuss the roles of the producers and consumers
2. Student will be given a big “Post-It” note and asked to draw two columns- “Consumers”
and “Producers”
3. Student will illustrate 4 types of producers
4. Student then will illustrate 4 types of consumers that buy the producers goods

Conclusion
1. Student and teacher will review chart columns together.
2. Teacher will ask the student to explain his illustrations and what makes each a producer
or consumer

7. Addressing Learners’ Diverse Needs


● Lesson plan was adapted to meet grade level for students
● Students can use some of their residual hearing with hearing aids & cochlear implants but
benefits greatly by having abstract concepts explained in ASL
● FM system used to amplify spoken language
● Students who need additional support will have access to 1-on-1 instruction review with
parapro.
