Boreas String Quartet - Wedding Contract

Official contract for the personal services of Boreas String Quartet, herein called BSQ, made this date
________ between the undersigned clients. BSQ is engaged on the terms and conditions hereof and the
client agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions.

Deposit: A $50 non-refundable deposit is to be paid with the return of this contract. The event date is
not reserved until the deposit is received. This deposit will be applied to the total cost.

Payment: Client will mail a check (or use another agreed upon method of payment) for ________ at
least one week prior to the date of the ceremony.

Equipment: Client shall provide one chair without arms for each performer as well as adequate lighting
and performance space. BSQ will provide music stands. If outdoors, client will provide a shade tent or
other reasonable accommodation to avoid damage to the instruments.

Cancelation: If the client cancels the event, BSQ requires at least one week (7 days) notice or the client
will be responsible for the full balance. Deposit is non-refundable. In the event of an unforeseen
emergency that prohibits BSQ from attending, the client will be refunded the full amount paid, including
the deposit.

Weather: In the event of inclement weather, arrangements must be made to protect the musicians and
their instruments from damage.

If you agree to the terms of this contract, please sign and return with the $50 non-refundable deposit
(or full balance).
