AFFIDAVIT

I, EUGENE M. FELIX, Filipino, of legal age, married, and a resident of Bagay, Tuguegarao City,
Cagayan after being duly sworn to in accordance with law, hereby depose and state:

1. That I am a bystander when a heated altercation occurred between Jaycie Quizzagan

and Paul QUizzagan on June 30, 2018 around six o’clock in the evening near Barangay
Hall;

2. That at time, I saw that Mr. Jaycee Quizzagan was being hit by Mr. Paul Quizzagan with
a stone and because it was Mr. Jaycie Quizzagan who uttered defamatory remarks
against Mr. Paul Quizzagan;

3. That in fact, I was one who pacified them and I even requested Mr. Paul Quizzagan to
stay away with him considering the adverse and threatening reaction of Mr. Jaycie
Quizzagan;

4. That during that time, I saw exactly what happened and that the stone thrown by Mr. Paul
Quizzagan did not hit him too much and that the stones as photographed in the complaint
were not as huge as the stones thrown by Mr. Paul Quizzagan;

5. That it was Mr. Jaycie Quizzagan has uttered malicious and derogatory statements such
as “PATAYAN TAKA MASKI SITAW TA MAKADAFFUNG” and it was not Mr. Paul
Quizzagan who uttered such statements;

6. That I am executing this Affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing and in support
of the Joint Counter-Affidavit filed by the respondents.
