R. (1) You are my inheritance, O Lord!

a. O LORD, my allotted portion and my cup,

b. you it is who hold fast my lot.
c. I set the LORD ever before me;
d. with him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed.

R. You are my inheritance, O Lord!

Verse 2

a. Therefore my heart is glad and my soul rejoices,

b. my body, too, abides in confidence;
c. because you will not abandon my soul to the netherworld,
d. nor will you suffer your faithful one to undergo corruption.

R. You are my inheritance, O Lord!

Verse 3
a. You will show me the path to life,
b. fullness of joys in your presence,
c. the delights at your right hand
d. forever.
