Welcome to a short, but sweet week in kinder! If you haven’t already done so, please 
let us know how your child will be getting home on Wednesday, November 21st. 
Again, the ​students will be dismissed at 12 PM and there is no BASE (after school 
program) or lunch​. Letting us know in advance about any absences is also very 
helpful!  
 
La contraseña secreta (secret password) to come in to the classroom will continue to 
be “puedo tomar agua.” 
 
A peek at our  In ​Spanish Language Arts​, we will be reviewing past skills 
week  and working in our small, reading rotation groups. We will 
also be doing lots of sharing and writing about what we are 
thankful for!  
 
In ​Math​, we will continue to review our focus skills for the 
month of November and learn some new games!  

Action Items   Please send your child to school with hat, gloves, boots, 
snow pants and a jacket if there is snow on the ground​. If 
they do not have snow pants, they are not allowed to leave 
the black top and explore the snow (which they LOVE to do). 
Another rule that would be helpful to review at home is “no 
throwing snow.” ¡Gracias! 
 
Picture retakes will be on Tuesday, November 20th from 
9-10:30 AM. Please make sure your child brings their old 
photos with them as well.
