1. Warm-up
T greets the pp, checks attendance and makes sure the conditions are proper. Casual talks.
2. Checking homework
T asks the pp to open their notebooks and show the homework.
T checks the homework and marks a few of them.
Some pp read it.
T corrects the mistakes if necessary.
3. Lead in
- Teacher tells pupils they're about to watch 2 short films: a trailer and an advertising clip for a cartoon
movie.
- T asks Pps to form four groups.
4. Presentation and Elicitation
- Teacher asks pupils if they are aware about film advertising and how it is done on TV.
- T then writes the title of the lesson on the blackboard: "Other kind of rounding up. Trailers and clips"
5. Activities:
a – Teacher hands out 1st worksheet and asks some Pps to read aloud the questions then asks they if is
they have understood them. T or Pps translate if needed.
T tells the questions refer to information pupils can get from the trailer they're about to watch
and then they will have to write down on their worksheets every piece of information they get about
while the trailer is playing. Afterwards, a pupil for each group will write their answers on a flip-chart
paper sheet.
T starts the projection of the trailer. At the end of it, he replays it.

b – Teacher hands out 2nd worksheet and asks some Pps to read aloud the questions then asks they if is

Pps write their answers of both worksheets on the flip-chart sheets and the first group
completed the task will stick the sheet on the blackboard then, they will read aloud the answers.
6. Feed-back
T. tells pupils that the time is up and asks them if they enjoyed the lesson and if they have questions
about the lesson.
T encourages the students to express their ideas.
T praises the Pps and grades some of them.
7. Homework
T tells Pps their homework for Monday is similar to what they have just done and plays a third video
clip about Thanksgiving Day in USA, writes the web address where pupils can find and watch the
video again in order to answer the questions they receive on a new worksheet.
