Installing the Moses plug-in for SDL Trados 2015/2017

In order to use this plug-in, you must have access to a Moses server and know its
URL.

1. Double-click on the Moses_Provider_Plug-in installer.

2. Launch SDL Trados and open up the project in which you want to use the
Moses plug-in. Click on Project Settings

3. Click on the Add button and select Link up a Moses server with SDL
Trados

In SDL Trados 2017, you may have to click on Use.

Three different options of Moses tokenization are available
 No tokenization – not very useful, other than for testing purposes
 Default tokenization – recommended. This attempts to replicate the
tokenization applied by the tokenization.perl and detokenization.perl scripts in
Moses. It is far from complete, however. It should work well in most simple
cases, and there is some language-specific customisation based on the (SDL
Trados) source and target project languages. It is unlikely to be effective for
CJK languages.
 Custom tokenization – load file. This requires an xml configuration file and
XPath instuctions for the Preprocess and Postprocess command lists. Please
contact me at jon at joft dot co dot uk for further information.

The other options are self-explanatory and the recommended options are shown
above. Automated tag handling is not yet available in this initial version.
Translation

When you switch to the Editor view to translate the file, the MT suggestions appear
automatically and if relevant, can be pasted into the current segment by pressing
CTRL + T.
