1.What diagnostic assessment has taken place this semester? There were a pre and summative assessment that we did for the unit to see what the children knew before the unit and what the children has learnt during the unit. We also have continued assessments that is taking place on a daily basis when we see that the children are achieving the objectives that we have set out for them in the planning we mark it on Tapestry their on-line journal.
2. When did this occur?
Begin off the unit and end of the unit. As well as ongoing assessment.
3. What kind of assessment were conducted?
Drawings as well as oral the teacher had to scribe what the students said. The kids had to draw what they wanted to be one day? And tell the teacher why? And what tool would you need to do that job. The teachers scribe everything the students said.
4. Who developed these assessments?
The KG2 teacher developed the pre and summative assessment and we use EYFS and scope and sequence (PYP) documents to guide us and to make sure it matches. EYFS is a standard document from the UK and we are using the objective from there that best suites our students and their needs.

The classroom teacher
6. Where the assessment completed by students individually?
Yes, the pre-assessment and summative.
7.What Information did you hope to get from these assessments?
Pre-assessment to see what the children knows before we start the unit and the summative what the children had learned after 6 weeks.
8. What decisions did you make based on the assessments?
The pre-assessment was too difficult for the students and we have to change it for the next year. 9. How did you group your students? I don’t really group the students in the early years, I do know who is my higher, middle and lower abilities and have those groups in my class but they don’t do work in those groups. When we do our planning and our objective led planning sheet, we plan for each group, but I will not say the green group it is your turn or something like that.
10. Do your groups change for different learning subjects/topics
Yes, I do know the strengths of my students and I try to use where possible.
