A history of achievement, based on quality and service ...

Binder Engineering, established in 1982, is the region's largest specialist in the design and manufacture of proprietary and custom-built
pipe suspension solutions for a broad range of industries that includes, LNG/LPG, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation,
Pharmaceutical, Offshore, Mining and Mineral Resources, Industrial and Building Services.

With manufacturing facilities and sales centres throughout Australia and the South East Asian region, Binder Engineering is committed to
providing total customer satisfaction. To this end, the company's manufacturing facilities employ highly qualified and motivated staff, and
the most up-to-date CAD and CAM equipment, robotic welding and computer software. This guarantees the highest quality of pipe supports
and fabrications are provided in a wide range of materials and surface finishes to suit individual customer specifications.

To be internationally competitive, Binder Engineering recognises the importance of build-

ing a reputation for quality at an affordable price. Repeatable quality is paramount and
the emphasis on quality to ISO 9002 has resulted in the company being awarded many
of the prestigious pipe support contracts throughout the region.

Binder Engineering has developed the most comprehensive catalogue of proprietary

pipe supports available. This is provided to clients, free-of-charge. The catalogue is an
invaluable guide for both engineers and purchasers of pipe suspension systems.

Customer support and service has always been high on Binder Engineering's list of
priorities. The company is proud of the partnerships it has formed with its clients over the
years, which have ensured the customer's requirements and needs are heard, and
responded to, with minimum fuss and delay.

Additional services provided by Binder include finite element analysis,

piping stress analysis; a pipe support design service and material take
off.

Our in-house engineers perform site surveys of existing on-shore and

offshore installations providing recommendations on the selection,
installation, and performance of pipe supports.

Innovation is a word synonymous with Binder Engineering, from product

design and manufacture through to customer focus. One of Binder
Engineering's latest innovations is the Binder Piping Support Designer
Software package.

This software package was developed over a three-year period with

considerable customer input. It provides the means for an engineer to
simply key into a computer the design criteria of their pipe support and
the user friendly software will guide them to select the most suitable
pipe support assembly for their particular application.

With an emphasis on "User Friendly" the Binder Piping Support Designer Software
package will operate on any IBM compatible Personal Computer, with an lntel 40486 or
equivalent CPU and will work under Windows operating system 3.1 or above.

The codes and international standards used by Binder in the

design and manufacture of Supports are:

American Standard MSS-SP-58 Pipe Hangers and Supports

American Standard MSS-SP-69 Pipe Hangers and Supports
British Standard BS3974 Parts I, II & III Pipe Supports
ASME B31.1 Power Generation
ASME B31.3 Chemical and Refining

Except when marked standard, extra strong and double extra strong wall thickness have pipe of corresponding wall thickness listed under one of the schedule numbers.
NOTE1. For normal pipe sizes greater than 900mm, see API Std. 5LS. Spiral welded line pipe.
NOTE2. Dimensions in this table are based on ANSI B36.10 and ANSI B36.19
NOTE3. For tolerances on outside diameter and wall thickness see appropriate specifications.

*Schedule 5S,10S 40S and 80S*apply to austenitic chromium-nickel steel pipe only.
Due to the variable densities of austenitic stainless steels, these masses are based on carbon steel (see Clause 3), and
should be corrected accordingly.
Except where marked masses of standard, extra strong and double extra strong pipe have pipe of a corresponding
mass listed under one of the schedule numbers.
NOTE1. For masses of threaded pipe with couplings see API Std. 5L.
NOTE2. For nominal pipe sizes greater than 900mm see API Std. 5LS.
NOTE3. For tolerances on masses see appropriate specifications.
