About Adrian

As a student of Pearland High School, I believe I have to be motivated to want

knowledge if I want to be successful and to take ownership and responsibility in how I receive

and interpret instruction because without these I wouldn’t be capable of reaching academic

success.

This past semester has been a test of my patience and has forced me to work extremely

hard. At the beginning of this school year, I struggled to keep up with the work load that was

given to me from my classes. My college algebra class gave me plenty of new homework

assignments every week and my dual credit government class had caused me to study for hours

at a time. But overall, this semester further taught me how to overcome any obstacles like major

tests or assignments and it has taught me to work for my success.

My future plans are to try to finish out my high school career and go to a four-year

university. I would love to become an engineer or major somewhere in the science department. I

am extremely thankful for this school year because of the many lessons it has taught me and I’m

thrilled for my future as a student.
