So the itinerary will be as below:

NOTE:
Dinners need to be at Indian Restaurants wherever possible and not Sri Lankan as out of 4 guests, only 1 is a Non –
Vegetarian. Rest all 3 are Pure Vegetarians and the Sea Food smell at Sri Lankan restaurants might be a problem..
however if there are no option for a couple of days, they can manage..

Day 1: 5th Dec - Arrive Colombo.

On arrival at Airport, you will be met & greeted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel. Enroute – Dinner at Indian
restaurant. Check – in & Overnight.
Leaving on 5th evening coz the other flight is at 2 in the night...

Day 2: 6th Dec - Colombo - Sigiriya

Breakfast at the Hotel.
Dambulla is one of the ancient cities of Sri Lanka. The city also boasts to have the largest rose quartz mountain range in
South Asia, and the Iron wood forest.
Ibbankatuwa prehistoric burial site near Dambulla cave temple complexes is the latest archaeological site found in
Dambulla.
Dambulla along with nearby Sigiriya and Habarana form a cluster of tourist area within it.
Visit Ritigala – an old temple at the top of a small hill…beautiful green roads to the top…a small 1 hour trek…

Day 3: 7th Dec - Sigiriya - Kandy

Your Sightseeing will commence with the visit to one of the wonders of the ancient world -the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is
also a UNESCO world Heritage site. SigiriyaRock was once an ancient Castle used both as a palace and a fortress and was

created by the great King Kasyapa. The magnificent rock fortress of Sigiriya is visible for miles from all directions and
dominates the surrounding plain. The Sigiriya Complex consists of the central rock, which arises abruptly 200 meters
above the surrounding plain with the two rectangular precincts on the east and the west. The rock is surrounded by two
wide moats, where crocodiles were introduced in ancient times and three ramparts. The moats and walls that surround
the lower palace are still exquisitely beautiful.
While on your Sightseeing you will visit one of the world heritages as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the
world; namely the Temple of tooth Relic known to the Sri Lankans as DaladaMaligawa.
start the rock climbing by 8am…back down by 11:30 max…rest & lunch...then visit the temple…then push off for
kandy…it’s a 3 hour drive…

Day 4: 8th Dec - Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at Hotel. sightseeing in Kandy including visit to Sita amman temple. Push off to nuwara eliya En route visit to
tea factory and Ramboda falls. Lunch at restaurant. Check In at Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.
a 4-5 hour ride again between Kandy & nuwara eliya…

Day 5: 9th Dec - Nuwara Eliya – Ella (Train Journey) – Galle / Hikkaduwa / Unawatuna – Any one place
Breakfast at Hotel. Enjoy the Train Journey from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. From there the driver will pick you up before
taking you to galle/hikkaduwa/unawatuna…this is a 4 hour train ride through the sri Lankan hills to ella and a 5 hour
drive to reach the southern lanka…

Day 6: 10th Dce - Excursion to Mirissa

Leave early to Mirissa (packet breakfast) Whale and dolphin watching in Mirissa is one of the most exciting water
activities you can do in Sri Lanka during your holiday.Mirissa is the best place to start your whale and dolphin watching
tour in Sri Lanka.
In warm Indian ocean you can see Blue whales, Bryde´s whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales, sometimes Killer whales, and
Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner dolphins, Risso's dolphins and Striped dolphins. Sometimes you can see
turtles and various fish species, for example Bluefin tuna and flying fish.
Back to Galle , visit Dutch fort, Basking on the southern coast of Sri Lanka in the bay of Galle, the Fort was first built by
the Portuguese in 1588 before being extensively fortified by the Dutch in the mid 1600s. Recognized by UNESCO for its
cultural heritage value, the Fort was declared a World Heritage Site in 1988 as a unique exposition of "an urban
ensemble which illustrates the interaction of European architecture and South Asian traditions from the 16th to the 19th
centuries.

Day 8: 12th Dec – Galle/Hikkaduwa / Unawatuna – Bentota

On your city tour you will enjoy a boat ride along the Madhu River. It is a scenic tour relaxing and interesting while
passing many islets forested with mangroves and experience the natural rhythms as well. If you are looking for more
exclusive experience visit the turtle hatchery too.
The Turtle Hatchery is the prime turtle nesting site which was open by the Wild life Protection Society in 1981.
Visitors can see huge tanks filled with new born turtle hatchlings. After being fed, the baby turtles are taken to the sea
and released when they are 2-4 days old, usually during the safer hours of darkness.)

Day 9 – 13th Dec – Bentota

Bentota is the city of the Golden Beaches. You will be able to relax and feel the spirit of the sea and the warmth of the
soft sand. The day is divided in between swimming in the water and bathing in the sun. Bentota provides the perfect turf
for unfurled vacation at the beach. While enjoying the sun, sea and sand the water sports lovers can enroll themselves in
various water sports bringing in the unique pleasure of this locale.

Day 10 – 14th Dce – Bentota - Colombo

While on your city tour in Colombo you may visit famous places including Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park,
National Museum, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at
Independence Square, and prominent Buddhist, Hindu, Islam and Christian places of worship. (Entrance fees to sites not
included). For shopping, you may visit Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Majestic City, Noritake, etc.

Note: They need the Vehicle to themselves within city centre from Morning till Dinner .. including city tour, shopping,
etc

Day 11 – 15th Dec – Depart Colombo

They have an early morning flight departing at 05:35, so the transfer will be between 02:30 – 03:00 hrs from Colombo
Hotel to Airport. Transfers from Colombo to Airport
The other option is a 9:30pm to 12am flight…we may take this on the 15th night instead of 15th morning….reach home by
2am and be in office on Friday 16th…use the extra day in the southern beaches…
