INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
The plan should guide the LEA’s use of education technology for the next three
years.
List specific start and end dates (7/1/xx to 6/30/xx). Provide a brief overview of
the LEA, its location and demographics and/or share a link to the LEA’s
website.
Describe how a variety of stakeholders from within the LEA and the
community-at-large participated in the planning process.
Summarize the relevant research and describe how it supports the plan's
curricular and professional development goals.
● Summarize the plan’s major curricular and professional development
outcomes that are supported by research.
● Describe and cite the relevant research that supports the plan’s
outcomes.
● Describe the connection between the research and the plan’s goals.
● Describe information gathered from site visits, including best practices.
o In order to reach the school districts curricular goal the plan needs to
consist of major criteria, which are creating an opportunity for global
learning connections, survey, analysis of the student progress and
projects and classroom observations. Implementing technology in
classroom will help students develop strong technological skills needed
in the 21st Century, it will increase the academic achievement, and
group understanding of technologies in their personal, academic and
work environment.

o The plan’s goal is to empower the students learning experience.
Students will be fully engaged inside and outside both in school and
outside. They will be prepared to active, creative, knowledgeable in their
studies and ethical participants in our globally networked society.
Educators implementing technology in their classroom will be able to
measure students achievement and use assessment data for
continuous improvement.
o The planning committee gathered information through National and
State for the technology plan from conducting school surveys,
classroom observations and the analysis of the students work and
projects.
How does technology assist the students and teacher with assessment
Teacher are able to use these digital tools during the instructional block to
administer curriculum work, conduct research, identify and have a
comprehensive infrastructure for learning. Students taking the NWEA ELA and
MATH MAP and statewide assessments. There are many online test prep
programs such as Compass learning, THINKCERCA, Eureka Math and Math
playground which students have access to in school and at home to help
study.
Students are given a technology agreement form from the school. After,
students will have access to their assigned Chromebook laptop during their
instructional blocks. The 3D printer is available during STEM periods.
Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for using
technology to improve teaching and learning. Describe how these goals align
to the LEA's curricular goals that are supported by other plans. Describe how
the LEA's budget (LCAP) supports these goals, and whether future funding
proposals or partnerships may be needed for successful implementation.
Training takes place to ensure that teachers know how to operate their smart
boards to have a successful interactive and engaging instructional lesson
through Google slide, Powerpoint, Kahoot, and etc. Depending on the school
district teacher are required to have two smart boards in the class, for ICT
classroom that require two teachers who are parallel teaching. Base on the
class schedule teacher have a time when student can use the laptops from the
technology cart. Parents are provided with online account information for
PowerSchool that allows the parents to keep up with students academic
progress. Teacher will use the document camera during the literary block. This
tool is effective for collaborative teaching and student engagement. STEM
classes are offered in every grade statewide with a goal to introduce advanced
technology such as robotics and 3D printing of designs the students create on
their laptop. The long term goal, school administrators must create an
appropriate budget for online curriculum in the school and laptops that need to
be purchased for the students. Lastly, a management tool in the classroom
with be ClassDojo, which will allow teachers to provide incentive once certain
points are reached.
How will this plan meet the needs for teachers and administrators in
professional development?
School staff members will be required attend an annual training during the
school year in regards to technology related services.
Each teacher is provided with a Dell laptop and a gmail suite account. The school has
high speed internet of 400mbps. The site PowerSchool will be used to manage
grading, attendance, and student-parent accounts. Classdojo will be used to sent viral
messages to the families and teacher can privately message parents on it.
What are some electronic learning resources that are used to instruct and/or
assess students learning?
Describe the process for evaluating the plan's overall progress and impact on
teaching and learning.
How will the district test whether the implementation of the LEA plan was
success to teachers and student learning?
The third quarter in the school year a summative test data will be collected and
analyzed to determine if the implementation of technology in the classroom
was success and effective in student academic achievement.
