INTRODUCTION
------------
MiniTuner is a free (CardWare) program designed to tune musical instruments
by using a microphone or direct connection through your PC's sound card.
MiniTuner automatically detects the pitch of the input signal and displays
the corresponding note and its deviation from the targeted note.

The MiniTuner software is exclusively owned by Laszlo Arvai!
This software is released as a freeware (Cardware). You may FREELY use or
distribute this program, but if you like the MiniTuner PLEASE SEND me a
postcard about your country or city. Distribution is permitted only for
the whole software package without any modifications and without any fee of
charge. All accompanying files must be included. For a list of all files,
see the next section.
PROGRAM FILES

The MiniTuner package (MiniTuner.ZIP) consists of the following files:
- MiniTuner.EXE Executable file
- MTuner.INI Initialization file
- README.TXT This file
HARDWARE / SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
--------------------------------
Required configuration:
- IBM PC compatible 486 upwards
- Windows compatible soundcard (e.g. SOUNDBLASTER)
- microphone or direct connection to your instruments
- Microsoft Windows with native Win32 (Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT)
Recommended configuration:
- IBM PC with Pentium Processor
- SoundBlaster16 or compatible
- Window98 or NT
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
-----------------------
1) Extract and copy files Unzip and copy all MiniTuner files to an
appropriate subdirectory on your hard disk
(e.g. c:\Program Files\MiniTuner).
2) Creating shortcut Create a shortcut in your MiniTuner program group folder
(e.g. c:\windows\Start Menu\Programs\MiniTuner)
3) Starting the program If installed correctly, the program should start from
the Start->Programs->MiniTuner->MiniTuner menu.
UNINSTALLING:
-------------
If you want to remove the software from your computer, just delete the
directory which contains the program and don't forget to remove the shortcut
also.
